My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way to Centralia. What a cute shop! Loved all the used books. Food was fresh and locally made. Loved the homeade syrups as well. Salted caramel and mocha were especially good.

Every time we go to Pottsville we always make a trip to Pressed! It's a great lunch spot after or before the Yuengling tour. We love their easy ordering on the kiosk and their selection of simple but unique food. This time, my dad and sister got bagel sandwiches, and I got a blueberry crêpe. They dropped off an extra crepe at our table before I realized mine was missing blueberries. It was really awesome of them to do that - the crepe the next day was still delicious. My sister who usually doesnt like bagels loved theirs because of the soft bread. I also got the trans pride latte (a pride month special I think) which was also delicious - I'd def recommend that before they sell out (also add sprinkles!) They have a great selection of books to browse while you wait for your order. My sister was able to pick-up some books she found on her list and I think it was only like (~$35 for 7).

Nice coffee shop with books and eats. What more could you ask for. Service was fast and the in house roasted coffee is superb.

This is the coffee shop/place to meet up and enjoy a bite to eat Pottsville desperately needed. The menu is mostly crepes, but there are also some baked goods available. We had the buffalo chicken, banana/Nutella, and Thanksgiving (seasonal I believe) crepes. They were all very tasty. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the ingredients in the crepe fillings. They carry Passenger coffee from Lancaster and make a variety of coffee drinks (drip, lattes, etc.). The used bookstore in the back is really neat and well-organized. It's fun to look through the shelves and see what's available.

I have finally made it into Pressed Coffee & Books and couldn't be happier. Pressed is a breath of fresh air. My English black breakfast tea was refreshing iced and had notes of orange. I had also ordered one of their savory crepes and decided on the chicken, spinach, goat cheese, and honey crepe. Um... ashamed to say I inhaled that thing. Gone are the days where the county was not just dominated by a national chain coffee company. Although the National chain is still super busy, I welcome the ability to grab a cup of coffee within a cute shop. The book portion of the store made me think of a cute little book shop I recently saw in Madrid. Also, if you're still reading this and unsure if you should visit, what's holding you back?

I love this little place. Coffee is great every time and the vibe is perfect. It's not a chain sadly and that's the charm

Overpriced, lukewarm, too small dirty chai latte, extra charge for your milk choice. Staff was pleasant but literally Starbucks is cheaper.

The store…read moredoesn't appear to be very large from the outside, but, you may find yourself slightly overwhelmed once you walk in. The books are practically floor to ceiling in some areas with many of the shelves being two stacks deep. Books are organized by genre and first letter of author's last name. Genres range from Mystery and Romance to Classics and End Table books. There is also a room full of children's books and a decent selection for young adults. I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of the store. It is relaxed and fairly quiet. No one comes up to ask what you're looking for (although you can ask for specific titles/authors if you need) or eyes you while you're digging through the stacks trying to find exactly what you want. There are several step stools around to help you reach the highest shelves and be sure to grab a shopping basket at the entrance, as you'll likely need one. Remember, all of these books are used and come in varying conditions. All of the books that I purchased were in good to excellent condition. For the price of $3 per book, you can't beat it. He even accepts trade-ins, which then brings the price down to $2 per book, if I understood correctly. He accepts cash and credit. I have no complaints at all and will definitely be going back to gauge how often the stock changes. Thankful to have a used bookstore nearby. What I spent today on 12 books wouldn't have even gotten me 3 at Barnes & Noble.

I walked out with a couple great books to add to my collection, and will be back soon to pick up some more! My favorite thing about this store is that they offer hard to find books for a great price. They have an extensive Pennsylvania section which includes biographies about many of of the small colleges dotting the southeast part of the state, and a large amount of genealogical books as well. I was strapped for time and didn't get a chance to explore the entire store, but the sections I perused left me with a great feeling about the place. The lady who helped me check out was extremely friendly as well. Have already recommended this store to a couple friends and family, and I will personally be making the trip back out as soon as next week. Highly recommend!

The owners of THIS store have been in the book business for a while. Both put in years at a large chain bookstore. They've used that experience to create a store people WANT to shop. The staff was incredibly friendly and approached me twice to ask if there was something they could help me find. Very insightful and their kindness made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for the used book lover!
