Corados Services LLC is by far the best company to work on our house. The owner and Jose were very professional and easy to work with. The crews were efficient and polite. The price was absolutely reasonable. We highly recommend Corados Services!!

My mother is 87 years old who is non mobile and has respiratory issues is living a nightmare…read morebecause of ----Corados Services LLC was hired for exterior septic and interior plumbing. The plumber lied to HomeServe when he submitted the specifications regarding repairing the pipes in the interior of the house. He submitted a claim for the floor to be excavated to reach the pipes and told us that this would not be covered by HomeServe so we had to pay $500. The plumber billed us for $500 and we paid it but they decided NOT to excavate the floor but redirect the pipes and cap off the old connection. When did they did this, they took the sewage and buried it in the crawling floor space under the kitchen. By doing this they avoided discarding the sewage properly. We now are facing sewage odor and drain flies and pests, which we had to pay for pest services to control the matter. The odor has continued to be a major issue since the repair on July 25, 2022. (2) Corados Services LLC was requested by me to return and investigate the issue via HomeServe. The company contacted me with an 8 am arrival time on August 24th but failed to show up and when I called them at 9:30 am, I was told by Sam Corados that he had to drive an excavator to a client site and could make it at 1:30 pm but also told me he knew exactly what the issue was and we needed to sanitize the pipelines which is not covered by HomeServe. I asked him to resubmit the claim for sanitization to HomeServe and to also send me an estimated cost. I only received the estimate and no response regarding if HomeServe could cover the sanitization service. Corados never came to the house for a follow up as requested by HomeServe and their attitude towards our request was pretty much ignored and they never showed up. (3) We have been calling HomeServe to get another plumber out to the house to resolve this issue and we continue to have delays, plumbers who are sent that cannot do the job, who tell us the original plumber has to fix the issue, etc. We are still inhaling sewage odor and encountering drain flies and HomeServe is unresponsive to our requests. I want our $500 BACK!

The Drain Guys - Meet our team of dedicated experts!

First time customer here, and The Drain Guys will definitely be my first call for future plumbing…read morework. From my first interactions I was impressed with the customer service. I solicited quotes from three companies to reline my 80+ year-old sewer line. One never delivered; Second quoted but was near impossible to get questions answered regarding the quote. Drain Guys quoted on the spot, and was extremely responsive regarding follow-up questions. The CIPP liner process is technically complex, and the team experienced some unforeseen complications. However, the skill, positive attitude, and perseverance of every team member when things got tough truly impressed me. The team worked very hard over several days, overcame major obstacles, and ultimately delivered a drain line that will hopefully last another 80 years. Despite the challenges, I never doubted I was in good hands with The Drain Guys and I would absolutely call them again. Special thanks to Adrian, Kevon, Oliver, Johnny, and Jay -- I appreciate you all! Chris

I called The Drain Guys on Thursday afternoon for a slow-draining bathtub after attempting to clear…read moreit myself. When scheduling, I specifically asked whether they could provide at least a ballpark estimate for snaking a bathtub drain. I was told there was no way to provide pricing information until a technician saw the issue in person. At the same time, I was assured their pricing was "the best in the business," that the owner operates with integrity, and that they are not in the business of gouging customers. Based on those representations, I agreed to schedule service. I was told that due to the snowstorm and several frozen pipe emergencies, the earliest available appointment was Saturday. I understood that weather can create legitimate service delays and agreed to wait. However, late Friday evening, the night before the scheduled Saturday appointment, I received a text stating the plumber would not be able to come because they were behind schedule. The next available appointment was Tuesday. That resulted in a five-day wait from my original call for a routine drain issue. When the technician arrived on Tuesday, I was quoted $550 to snake a single bathtub drain. The work took approximately 30 minutes. After receiving the quote, I texted the office referencing the earlier statement about having the best prices in the business. I was then told that they had not said that, only that their prices were competitive. If $550 is the standard rate for this service, that information could have been shared when I specifically asked for even a general idea of cost. Being told that no pricing guidance could be provided, while simultaneously being reassured about superior pricing and integrity, created expectations that did not align with the final quote. The technician did clear the clog. However, he did not remove his shoes or use protective coverings despite snow and mud outside, and water was tracked into the home. This experience combined a last-minute cancellation due to scheduling issues, a five-day wait for service, no upfront pricing transparency, and a $550 charge for approximately 30 minutes of work. Prospective customers, particularly those who are cost- or time-sensitive, should request written pricing information and obtain comparison quotes before proceeding.

Samco Paving - Outstanding Resurfacing Job!

Did a great job on my driveway. Detailed quote that was reasonable and very quick. Looks great .read more

Samco was one of the few companies to respond when I sent out inquiries recently about having my…read moredriveway (which was about 50+ years old) replaced. After some email contact, Sam Jr. and I got in touch, and he came out to give an estimate. Despite the age of the driveway, he said it was in decent condition and said there were 2 options. I could resurface the driveway at a cost of about $4.50 a square foot, or we could replace the driveway at an original cost of $7.00 a square foot. We went over the pros and cons of each option, and it made more sense (given the age of the driveway) to fully replace it. When he gave me the written estimate, he had knocked a bit of the cost off, and it was down to about $6.10 a square foot. He knew I had some other contractors scheduled, and was polite about it. Later that evening, he gave me a call, and since they were going to be in the area on a job, he was able to get the price down to about $5.00 a square foot. At that point, I jumped on the deal, as that price was only a minimal amount more than the resurfacing would have cost. Sam and the team showed up on time the day of the appointment and went over things one last time. Their work was professional and quick. They take care to ensure straight edges, and that cracks (such as between the garage, porch, and sidewalk and the driveway were filled in. They also elevated the driveway a touch as the grass line was higher that the original driveway. But there is still plenty of slope for the driveway as well. We got some strong storms last night (and overnight), but the driveway was bone-dry this morning, instead of the usual puddles and lakes that would form after a storm on the old driveway. I would peek out at them as they were working, and Sam was always fully involved working on something, including getting down on his hands and knees when needed to check a spot or correct something. Their clean up was just as thorough and professional, and Sam gave me all the information needed for letting the driveway cure given the hot days we've been having. All in all, I'm highly satisfied with the job they did, and would highly recommend them for any residential paving need.
