If they can't even show up or be accountable in the most preliminary stages, imagine how much worse their service would be once they had your money? I should have looked more carefully at the reviews - there are some troubling ones in the filtered section, and almost all of the 5 star ones are from new Yelp accounts with barely any reviews. Jose came out right away to provide an estimate (which was more than reasonable) and took time to carefully explain which parts of the tree he would be trimming back and the reason for each cut. I needed a very tall elm tree trimmed in my rear yard. Even though it is impossible to use a basket truck to reach the tree because of the tree's location off of my alley, the team had no problem climbing the tree and avoiding all power and internet lines. The team arrived on-time and finished in the time promised. The entire clean up job was fantastic and the tree looks great! I can now rest easy about the safety of the limbs around my house and yard. I gave her my availability to accommodate an in-person estimate which was a 4 hour window from 11am-3pm. She stated she would call me in the morning to advise a more precise time. At 1:30pm, I CALLED THEM and again the same 'I-wish-I-was-on-another-planet' phone reception... and then offered to come out AT 3pm. NOPE. If the phone etiquette matches the service? HARD PASS.

Did the usual --asked our neighbors, compared ratings on Yelp-- and ended up with three wildly different quotes. The Arborist with Arundel Tree came across as the most genuine, told us what needed to be done and what could wait. On top of that, their pricing seemed very competitive. Day of the job, the team arrived early with shiny new equipment, did a thorough pre-job confirmation and got to work. After the post-job walk-around, they mulched every branch and left the yard better than they found it. Highly recommended start to finish. My only gripe is the 3% markup on credit card payment... (At least let me earn those points!)

Called for a quote to remove a couple of trees and grind the stumps as well as dig up a couple of…read moreplants for me to replant. Got an estimator out the next day. Thought the service would be great. However, when I called to schedule the tree removal, it took me calling and leaving messages three times before I finally was able to schedule on my 4th call. No messages were ever returned. The day they came to remove the trees, I was told they'd have to return the next day to grind the stumps. No one returned the next day. When they finally called to schedule it, they gave me less than 24 hours notice and when I said that didn't work, they scheduled for the next week. Imagine my surprise when, I looked out my window as I was getting ready to leave for a scheduled event and I see a tree grinder ready to go to work on a day I told them not to come. My husband spoke to the employee who was not aware and did not have the tools to dig up the plants I had asked them to do so I could move them. My husband spoke with Alfredo who said the employee there to grind the stumps could possibly do it if we paid him $50 off the books (once again, digging up the plants was included in the original estimate). To top it all off, I received a call 4 hours after the grinding was finished to find out if the could come over the weekend to grind the stumps. There is a severe lack of communication between the various parts of this company, phone calls aren't returned and they don't communicate with the customer efficiently. I hired them based on my neighbors' recommendation and my initial contact. They will not receive my recommendation for anything nor will I ever hire them again.

It was a complicated job in a small space but they knew what they were doing and carefully and masterfully cut down the branches.
