I have gone in not really with a set thing in mind but just to look and have come out with something that either smelt great, looked delicious or found something super functional for my space. Some items are a bit pricy for the genre of store but I just move on down the rack. Customer service is pretty good too. Have not run into an unhelpful employee yet.

From my initial visit here I saw lots of home decor, candles, dipping oils, soap, ornaments, etc. The majority of the offerings appear to be sourced locally and are priced reasonably. Last year I had bought a canvas bag with piggies on it that I get so many compliments on! This year I returned for a wallet to accompany my purse but also found some adorable earrings and an absolutely beautiful children's book to gift. The gentleman who helped me during my last visit was the same from my first and was so very pleasant and helpful. He had grabbed new items still in plastic to replicate the items that I had taken from the shelf which I found so considerate. Definitely stop in if you are in the area! You are sure to find something that tickles your fancy!

I wanted to get something for my boyfriend with his name on it, but couldn't find anything I liked. The ones they had was a bottle with sand, and like that's just not the vibe. Seeing as the seagull is the Wildwood NJ mascot, I would have loved to see something done with that! Something a little more unique and fun, if you ask me. ATMOSPHERE This place was a vibe! Equally unique as the almost black sided exterior is the warm and rich wood tones of the interior. A lot of stores on the pedestrian-friendly Washington Street Mall blur together in my head but this shop was very memorable. Aside from the fabulous exterior and interior, I really liked the staff! They were welcoming and friendly, very laid back and conversational but not over-bearing or pushy. That is totally the way to do it. Kinda like you're just having conversation at a cocktail party. A lot of the merchandise sold at Quirk & Co is made by local artisans and other merchandise is proudly made in the USA. They have an awesome collection of candles, jewelry, scarves, tote bags, mugs, pillows and such. I also think I saw some cool vintage painted furniture. I fell in love with the mermaid art made out of pieces of seashells. And the doggie pillows. And the beautifully candles that just smell so fresh. Decor inside is spare and not too crowded. In the back, I think there is an area where they showcase chalk paint furniture. Nice!
