Absolutely the BEST! Hana and Christi are such amazing human beings. They are honest, loving, organized, and great-communicators. They truly love children and take an incredible amount of pride in their school. Being born and raised in Los Angeles we knew picking the right preschool for our children could be both daunting and challenging. During the interview process we were immediately greeted by the most kind and caring owners Hana Lewkow and Christi Lewkow. The moment we walked into the classroom we were overwhelmed by the feeling of love , warmth , and safety. You could see the creativity that the teachers use to educate the children. Our son Cole graduated from THT and moved onto Saint Paul the Apostle in Westwood. He had no problems making the transition from preschool to kindergarten. Treehouse Tots saved our little family during the craziness of Covid / quarantine. Our little wild heart son needed interaction outside of his home, and we are so so grateful to have found THT. Where do I start? The staff, the classrooms, the play areas, the special art projects, learning about other cultures around the world and observing their holidays, the specialty classes for music, yoga, soccer, dance...it was all incredible. We were so lucky to find this gem of a preschool and the fact that it is walking distance from our house was the icing on the cake! Our daughter started there the fall before the pandemic so it was quite a difficult transition for everyone to have remote preschool. The school did a wonderful job of doing their best to keep the kids engaged through zoom and that really showed their commitment to the kids and their passion for what they do. Our daughter graduated last month a very well rounded , confident, and happy child. She is absolutely ready for Kindergarten! As the parents of three young boys, my wife and I were looking for a school that could be a home for our family. We found that and more at Treehouse Tots. The facilities are perfect for growing, curious children with both indoor and outdoor spaces. The teachers are warm and active in addressing each of the childrens' varying needs. The curriculum focuses on exploring and growth both emotionally and intellectually. There are also activities with external instructors like dancing, yoga, ninja class, soccer, etc.There are organized school events to help parents connect to the school, their children as well as other parents. Our eldest, now in grade school, is more logical and organized and the teachers fostered the structure he needed to feel confident and answers to his constant inquiries as to "why?". Our second son also graduated from the school and is more of a creative type. The teachers provided plenty of avenues for him to imagine and create his own world, while still learning basics of writing and math. We are always kept informed of upcoming events, progress and development. They even provided very detailed assessments of our sons' progress in different areas! I can not tell you how much that helped us understand our sons and better prepare them for kindergarten. As parents I would say that we also picked up some tools from the teachers. As an example, when it came to conflict resolution among the children and problem solving the teachers are actively engaged and patient in helping the children assess and participate in finding solutions. This translated to our home where my wife and I applied similar techniques and we have seen the boys express much more empathy and in some cases offering solutions to their own problems. We look forward to sending our youngest here in the coming year and we are so excited to watch our children develop with the foundation of "helpful humans" that Treehouse Tots has instilled in them. read more

Teacher Christi was my daughters preschool teacher for 2 years. We love her! My daughter Ruby is now in the 2nd grade & entered kinder so well prepared. Ruby still recalls the fun days spent painting, bonding with friends (one of which she still has to this very day), the songs they learned & the time spent outdoors playing together. We came to teacher Christi after being at another preschool for one year. I was worried about the transition but Christi really made my son feel welcome and he adjusted so quickly! Couldn't be more thrilled, my son loves TreeHouse Tots. He RUNS to school when we get out of the car, and talks about his friends and what he learned at school non stop when we get home. They also take pictures most days and post them in a private Shutterfly for the parents which, for me at least, is so incredible since I don't get to see my son enough during the work week. The pictures are updated almost every day with TONS of great shots which my son learning by doing - gardening, cooking, yoga, science, art...it's just incredible! In two weeks I've already seen noticeable improvement in my son's speech and motor skills - his vocabulary is exploding! They really have a focus on the whole child, and approach learning by engaging all of the senses to ignite the child's curiosity so that they WANT to learn. Its hard to even put into words how amazing this school has been for our boys and our family. Miss Christi and Miss Hana have built a caring community of children and parents that seeks to educate the whole child. With a constant array of themes and projects, its almost hard to keep up with all the learning that our little guys are doing. Besides jumping out of the car every day to get to school, our kids have become a part of a diverse community that celebrates all aspects of the families in its circle. For example, one of the greatest pictures of one of our sons is a shot of him covered in colored chalk on the day that the school celebrated Diwali. Miss Hana was our daughter's teacher from the age of 2.5 to 5 years old. We can't say enough good things about Miss Hana and the Reggio-Emilia approach to teaching. She'd come home from pre-school like a chatterbox talking about all the fun things they did - and often she'd surprise us by some of the cool things they learned! Yes, alphabet and numbers. But she'd also talk about science, gardening, dinosaurs, sea animals, reptiles, clouds and precipitation, the phases of the moon - you name it! Our daughter is now in kindergarten and more than prepared - both academically and socially - and has so much confidence. Miss Hana is kind and nurturing and made learning fun though projects, activities, nature walks, reading, songs and more.
