I hired Jon Ish of Jordon Michael Homes to build my house and encountered the following issues…read more Things were going along pretty well, however, once I made my final payment the work pretty much stopped on items on my list that needed to be fixed after a couple of months. We kept sending Mr. Ish emails but did not get a response to our items. Mr. Ish lost his Warranty Guy just before we started to build our house and he never got one hired, to my knowledge. It was just him, his young son and uncle left to do things. He got busy with other houses and did not respond very well to our items. In the contract, Mr. Ish required us to sign, it stated that there were two items he would supply: 1) a warranty instrument and 2) lien waivers. When I asked for the warranty instrument, he asked me what an instrument was. He said he had a company write the contract and he didn't know what that meant. Then I asked for the lien waivers and he stated I was wasting his time and stormed out of my house. How can someone not understand or meet the requirements outlined in his own contract? Here are just a few significant issues that I had with my house: - The foundation has leaked 3 times. - Long scratches on my garage floor. I pointed these out to Mr. Ish before I moved in. He never fixed them. This required me to pay to have someone topcoat my garage floors. - Bowed walls in my garage which were never fixed. - My garage doors leak water into my garage. - Holes in the concrete driveway. - Base boards coming loose from the wall. - The water pipes make a loud noise when running water in the kitchen. Mr. Ish said this is normal. It is not normal to me. I never had this problem in my other 5 houses. - The grading wasn't done very well. - He recommended Emerald Landscaping. Don't use them. Their trees kept dying or falling over. I had to use someone else to get the job done right. - There were a number of issues that finally got resolved. Mr. Ish has quite a high opinion of the quality of his work; however, I don't agree with him and would not recommend him to anyone.

It looks like Uncle…read moreJoe videotaped our wedding... compared to the video they showed at the reception for the media event package, this video is terrible :( Our interviews are so sad we can't even hear them, how disappointing is that. Very unprofessional, the camera is shaky throughout the entire video, the sound quality is horrible. So sad that my wedding video is ruined... it is not like I can do it all over again and hire of different company, if I could, I would.

When I first started looking for a company to work with, I messaged several different photographers and Carmen was the only person I felt at ease collaborating with. Not only did she reply very quickly, her responses were positive & supportive. I was honestly what one would call a complex client as I was unsure of what I really wanted but that is why Carmen is so great! She helped me execute my vision given my directions were quite vague. When time came for the shoot, Carmen led me throughout the session making it effortless! After an hour session we were able to get many shots AND an outfit change in all the while I was sluggish barely being able to move around much at 38 weeks pregnant! The shoot was a success and after a week Carmen and Ryan emailed me the results. I was very happy with the outcome but requested a couple edits and sure enough they made it happen! I was going through my first pregnancy and I was overwhelmed with all the stress and insecurities that come with pregnancy, however Reaction Photography captured my maternity shots seamlessly! I had found Carmen on Yelp (I'm a big Yelper who listens to reviews) and when I spoke with her on the phone I knew I had found the right person. We were a group of 29 family members, ranging in age from 3 -85 years old . We had 3 sets of families and we needed numerous pictures taken at Gallagher Park. Carmen arrived on time and ready to go. She was professional and truly got every photo we needed. She was calm and helpful and knew exactly what to do. Due to my concern about the weather Carmen was flexible throughout, and was happy to continue taking photos at an inside venue if needed (thankfully the weather was fine and we were able to take all the photos outside). If you are looking for an excellent, creative, professional photographer for any event no need to look further! Carmen is simply the BEST!
