Their team initially installed piping incorrectly, which resulted in leaks and required them to return to fix their mistake. Later, we discovered they had also crossed the plumbing lines -- hot water came out of the cold side in both the shower and sink, and the toilet was flushing hot water. Correcting this error required a large hole to be cut into our brand-new drywall. After the finish work was completed, one of their employees called their CFO in front of us to confirm our final balance. Weeks later, we were suddenly told we owed hundreds of dollars more because they claimed I had made some sort of side "deal" with their plumber, which is absolutely false. Throughout the process, they provided multiple estimates and invoices that did not match the final amount they demanded. To make matters worse, they withheld payment to the contractor who repaired the drywall damage caused by their mistake until they received the additional money they claimed we owed. In the end, we were left paying out of pocket to repair damage caused entirely by their team's errors. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution others before hiring this company.

Also, the owner Jen, who opens, closes and cleans the pool, has been great to work with. However, I feel obligated to warn potential customers about the significant issues we have experienced. Since completion, we have had to deal with a surprising number of issues, considering this was a $120k investment. What was just as frustrating as the repairs themselves has been the lack of communication and follow-through from Artison. Scheduling warranty work, getting updates, and receiving responses required repeated follow-ups on our part. Artison would often blame subcontractors, however, it is their responsibility to prioritize and oversee the work of their subcontractors. This is the first negative Google review I have ever done on a company, but we want people looking to get a pool to be informed as we would not have used them had we known about the quality and communication issues.

1) Far more oversight and supervision of their crews/subs are needed during the roofing process:…read more- $300.00 damage was done to our chimney brick during removal of existing roof. Husker Hammer reimbursed us for that expense upon receipt of our photographic proof of damage; - shingle scraps were left lying on our composite deck during heat and in direct sunlight leaving areas of tar residue that we had to remove with a power washer; - not all shingle ridge caps were installed in a straight line resulting in a visual distraction. 2) Husker Hammer mismanaged the required permit and inspection process: - the City of Omaha requires permits be obtained prior to any work being started. Not complying with that requirement can result in the City assessing a monetary penalty. Husker Hammer did not obtain a permit until 4 days after new roofing had been installed. Our signed agreement states Husker Hammer was to obtain the permit; - we were advised by the City of Omaha, 6 weeks after the new roofing was applied, the required inspection had not been requested and we need to notify our contractor to submit the request. We did so and the inspection was conducted 7 days later. 3) Husker Hammer ordered two replacement skylights that were not as specified in our agreement: - the larger of the two replacements was reordered resulting in the need to for the roof opening to be temporarily patched,for 5 weeks until the correct skylight could be installed - the smaller of two replacement skylights was also not ordered as we specified and was installed without our approval. Husker Hammer advised it could be modified in place with the shade option we had requested. The shade option was ordered and arrived 5 weeks later. However Husker Hammer personnel did not properly install it. Husker Hammer then referred us to the manufacturer's local representative for resolution. The manufacturer's representative was very helpful. He is arranging for the delivery and installation of a new shade by one of their certified installers. 4) As 10/6/25, we are entering in our fourth month of resolving issues with the reroofing our home by Husker Hammer.
