I was delighted to learn that the Booster Juice stand upstairs by the food court also sells Acai Bowls so I decided to try one of their Acai bowls recently. Very impressive! They don't have as many varieties as Oakberry but what they do serve is just as tasty as any of the Acai Bowls from Oakberry. I found that the bowl they served it in was also much easier to scoop from than the cups that Oakberry serves their Acai Bowls in. When I'm eating an Acai Bowl from Oakberry, I always feel like I'm dangerously close to spilling the contents of my cup whenever I'm scooping from the top. This Booster Juice Acai bowl felt like I had more room to move things around without being so close to spilling things. I find that the location of Booster Juice is also more convenient. As much as I love the Acai Bowls from Oakberry, if I'm with a group of people at Park Royal (and I usually am), I don't like having to separate and go downstairs to get an Acai Bowl if everyone else is ordering their food from the food court upstairs. Probably gonna alternate between the two places from now on, when the Acai bowl cravings hit. I've also had smoothies from this place in the past and their smoothies are pretty good as well, but I am really really loving the acai bowls now!

After walking past all eateries, I saw this little stand just at the end - Booster Juice. I made up my mind to try some healthy juice. There was a new menu with this all green mix. So I ordered it. It costs about $8.99 incl. The lady who served me was new to the job but she was very polite and pretty quick to take my order. After about 5-7 mins the drink was ready. The first taste was "wow, it's so fresh!" not too sweet, just right about of taste. The second wow came a bit little when a ginger hit my bud. It was so good and I wanted a flash dance in the mall! Anyway, the food court was full of family gatherings, pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon which was normal. The ambiance was noisy , but it was a good kind of noise that I don't feel annoyed.

Holy smokes, the Acai bowls here are massive. We were soooo full. If we ever come here again, we will just share one bowl with each other. Not sure that we will come here again though. The Acai bowls weren't bad but I've had better. I feel it could have been a bit sweeter. I was not impressed with my mom's Avocado Toast. I could see my mother struggling to cut her Avocado Toast so it seems the crust was quite hard. She ended up leaving a lot of the crust on her plate and just ate the middle of the bread. On the website I had seen Avocado Toast, sandwiches, wraps and Salmon Lox Bagel. I was quite dismayed to walk into this place and not see any of that stuff written on the menu. There was a small sign by the cashier that said to ask about Avocado Toast. I guess by the same token, I would have had to ask about Salmon Lox Bagel. Why make us ask about it? Why not just include it on the huge menu that was up on the wall? Might have made life easier when it came to ordering something for my mom who isn't into Acai bowls like us. This place seems to be somehow shared with Bean Around the World coffee shop which is right next door. There's no wall separating the two shops. You can walk from Anchor Eatery straight into the coffee shop next door. We ended up taking our food and drinks from Anchor Eatery and sitting next door at Bean Around the World coffee shop. Assumed it was allowed since there was no separation between the two shops and nobody tried to kick us out of the coffee shop.

Chose a Classic size and added all my toppings. I'm slightly on the technologically challenged side so I was a bit nervous about whether my order had gone through or not. Went downstairs to the Oakberry stall and told the lady at the counter I had placed an order through the app but wasn't sure if it had gone through or not. She checked and when she asked if I was "Josephine" I breathed a huge sigh of relief! Might start ordering through the app more often now! Got to the counter and saw a sign with some drinks on it. Double Hojicha sounded very tempting so I ordered that one in person since I was right there at the counter. Not bad, but I think I might have enjoyed the Double Hojicha more if it had been slightly sweeter. Overall, really loving my Oakberry experiences!

The açaí latte was creamy, smooth, and really delicious -- a fun twist if you're looking to try something different from your usual coffee order. The mango matcha was refreshing and nicely balanced, not overly sweet. Service was great as well -- Sumaiyah was super friendly and really helpful in walking us through the menu. Overall, a great spot for unique drinks, and it's also a nice sitting area in the middle of Park Royal mall.

(That might have a lot to do with the free parking!) Came here with my daughter on a Saturday night. Usually we come to Krave Kulture during the day but this was the first time we came later in the evening. I think it was sometime past 8pm when we arrived. Big, long lineup. Very popular place. We decided to sit in the car for awhile and see if the lineup might die down. Every few minutes I came out, and still saw people lined up. After coming out to check about 2 or 3 times, I realized that a lot of the people in front had gone in, ordered and come out with their orders but that the line was still long because new people kept arriving and joining the line. Wow...I mean, we love this place of course and I guess it should be no surprise that this place is popular since we ourselves love this place so much, but we never knew just how popular this place had become. When we first started coming here a few years ago, it was easier to get in. Seems the lineups have grown. Anyways, we decided to finally just join the line instead of waiting in the car for it to dwindle cuz that really wasn't working out for us. Got to the front, ordered a large Vanilla/Chocolate twist with unlimited toppings. Happy, happy, happy. I really hope they will start opening up more Krave Kultures in other parts of Greater Vancouver. Ahem, Burnaby or New West would be very much appreciated!

Stepping into others' imprinted snow footsteps trying not to slip and fall onto the newly fallen snow, we made it into Cafe Crema in West Vancouver. The first thing with this place that gets you is the vibe. Mood lighting, lovely high tables and plenty of space. You can sit there, and daydreaming in this place is highly encouraged preferably with a glass of bold red and a slice of Margherita Pizza. I didn't really know what I wanted, which rarely happens, but this was one of those special occasions where you just let spontaneity take over. I was going to just have a coffee, but as I approached the register area to order my Americano, I kept seeing this glimmer in the corner of my eye. It was quite bright, but just a glimmer, so I looked over and it was just this muffin sitting there in the display. I asked the cashier what muffin that was, and I was told that it was the Vegan Banana Chocolate Muffin. "Vegan?" I asked. He said, "Yup." I almost walked away trying to find something else, but the damn thing looked so good. So, reluctantly I decided to try a Vegan Muffin. I said to myself, "well, what's the worst that could happen? I'll just throw it out if I don't like it." That winking-luring Vegan muffin was so good that it actually trumped many of the dairy based muffins I've had in the past. I'll tell you how and why. First, it was rich, creamy, dense, moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. You could taste the Cocoa and hint of Banana and nuts throughout. As much as all the ingredients together gave the muffin its wonderful taste, you could also taste each component individually. I don't have a sweet tooth at all, and it's rare to find me ordering desert or eating muffins. I ate this damn thing like I just discovered the taste of sweet for the first time. Between this awesome Vegan muffin, the great Americano and this cozy little lamp on the table and the beautiful glowing white snow on Bellevue Drive, this indeed was a memorable experience and a one time love affair with a Vegan Muffin. (No, I hadn't smoked anything that day.)
