Good ambiance, perfect for studying or working. This cafe has lots of plugs nearby, which is really nice. The coffee here is good and the prices are average. We got an early grey Basque cheesecake and I'm not sure it was that good. I didn't get strong earl grey flavours.

This is a cozy and calm spot filled with people hanging out or doing some work on their laptops. They have a large menu of different drinks and delicious gourmet desserts. For drinks, we ordered a Strawberry Matcha Latte ($7.95) and Mocha Frapp ($7.25). Both drinks were pretty solid. They were balanced with the flavours and neither were too sweet. I enjoyed the strawberry puree and it tasted so bright in combination with the earthy and sweetened matcha. The stars were definitely the desserts though. We ordered the Original Basque Cheesecake ($6.95) and Black Sesame Tiramisu ($7.50). We love basque cheesecake and this was smooth, creamy, rich, but still light. The black sesame tiramisu was also amazing. Such yummy and nutty flavours mixed with the creamy mascarpone and soft lady fingers. A great coffee shop option in Burnaby!

Such tasty financiers that are sooo pretty to look at. Each fiancier is filled with super tasty filling and it's highly recommended you pre-orrwr to get all the flavours they have available! My favourite was the raspberry because it was the perfect blend of tart and sweet. A close second was the matcha for sure!

Got an entire cheesecake on a whim, but it was good. I lucked out and was able to purchase an entire one mid-day, but I understand that these sell out quickly. They have different options, but I chose the regular.

Korean run coffee shop across the street from Brentwood Mall. It's tucked away on Buchanan (N side of the building). Not sure how long they've been there, but I found it by accident. Parking is pretty atrocious here unless it's after 2000, at which point the street parking becomes free. The inside is clean and modern and looks like something a bit like a fairy tale. The interior is pretty quiet, which is great for chatting. Staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee I had was pretty decent. This place also sells cakes and other pastries. The cakes definitely looked interesting, as they are concave at the top, as if someone squished a salad bowl into them before baking. I didn't try any and so can't comment on the taste. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point.

Conveniently located in the Brentwood area, it has some great cheesecake! I tried their Earl grey, matcha and original cheesecakes and they were delightful! It also seems like a great coffee shop to work at, there's plenty of seating which is amazing! The service was pretty good too. Can't wait to go back.

I've been wanting to try Teras Bean for a while. Finally went by. We tried the iced matcha latte and iced maple latte. It's such a cute and cozy cafe in its area. Perfect for you wanna study or work remotely. The drinks were absolutely delicious. Would love to go back and try some of the desserts they offer

I lovedddd the cheesecake I was sad because they ran out of the sweet potato flavour that I wanted to try but the regular was very good as well. It looks quite small but it is pretty filling (4/5) The tiramisu was good but pretty sweet. It wasn't as light as the way I usually like it but that's just personal preference. They also have a lot of flavours for their tiramisu. (3/5) I love that they bake fresh cakes throughout the day. They have a ton of basque cheesecake and the whole cafe has a fresh cake smell. Definitely come try the cheesecake if you're around the Brentwood area. I'd definitely love to come back and try their other treats!

Tera's Bean is a cozy cafe that's closeby to The Amazing Brentwood. They serve a variety of hot beverages and desserts including creme brulee, cheesecakes, tiramisu, macarons and choux cream puffs. There were a large number of cheesecakes behind the counter, so it seems like the cheesecakes are their specialty. While I love cheesecake, I was feeling extraordinarily full already from dinner and really didn't feel as though I could fit something as heavy as cheesecake into my stomach. I opted instead for a Coffee cream puff and a Peppermint Fog. The cream puff was pretty but very much lacking in flavor. I really couldn't taste any coffee flavor in it. I enjoyed the Peppermint Fog drink though. It was a nice change of pace from the usual London Fog. The Peppermint flavor in it was the kind of peppermint flavor that you would get from steeping a bag of Peppermint tea as opposed to the kind that you might get from pouring a Peppermint extract into your drink. While very much present in the drink, it wasn't overpowering. The flavor felt nicely balanced. Our friends ordered a slice of the cheesecake. I got to sample one small forkful of it. It was delicious and I will have to go back with an emptier stomach sometime so I can enjoy an entire slice of it! Service: Good Parking: A mix of paid and free parking on the street. Location: 1899 Willingdon Ave., across the street from The Amazing Brentwood (Entrance to Tera's Bean is on Buchanan St.)

This one is pretty close to home - just a short walk from The Amazing Brentwood in Burnaby ! - Parking isn't the most ideal - but there is plenty down the street - It was bumping on the weekend with nearly all the tables full with people chatting or studying their afternoons away - some soft KPOP jams playing - not too loud so you can still hear yourself talking :) Lovely display case of sweets , mmmm cheesecake is a must - mango was sold out but the Earl grey was amazing , still had the Tea flavor so that's a win for me ! Also , had a mocha - which I must say was super delicious - they have their own brand of coffee mixed in with chocolate goodness , creating a heavenly mocha experience - not too sweet as the coffee managed to play it's role nicely - I will be back to try other sweets , and coffee when I'm in the area :) https://www.instagram.com/vanleo.eatsfood1015/

I came across this new coffee shop in the Brentwood Area. It was around 7:30pm, so the display case was quite empty. Some of their desserts like the Basque Cheesecake and Tiramisu are homemade. Their Basque cheesecake was sold out so I got the Tiramisu to try They also have a matcha and black sesame Tiramisu but I went with the original this time The Tiramisu had a good balance of coffee flavor, mascarpone cream and sweetness Other items on their menu: - House brand coffee beans, - cake slices like carrot cake, Red velvet ($7.50) - Macarons - Prepared sandwiches - Creme Brulee I will be back to try the basque cheesecake, pastries and drinks

Tera's Bean is across the street from Brentwood Mall. They opened recently and I finally got the chance to visit! It's a nice, clean dessert café. I love how relaxed I felt right away when I walked in. It is pretty quiet so it's perfect for customer to do some work/study here. The cashier also has the same quiet and friendly demeanor. I love the calming atmosphere. I got a cup of London Fog and the Avo Mozza Sandwich. The London Fog was perfect as it was tasty and warm. I requested for my sandwich heated up, but it ended up being near room temperature. It was also way bigger than I thought it would be!! I know for next time, haha. Service is super friendly and quick. They bake in plain sight just behind the counter, which is awesome! I will come back for desserts!

Loved the pistachio strawberry tart! Definitely a must try here!! It had a strong pistachio flavour and had a lovely balance with the cake, tart and pistachio cream!

Staff are friendly and cheerful. No complaints. I wasn't sure what to try, so I had the kitchen sink. Might as well try a mix of everything. As per the menu, it was 2 eggs, sautéed red onions, red peppers, kale, green onions, sausage, bacon, cheese, hashbrowns. Reminded me of eating an omelette that fell apart. Decent quality, but honestly nothing really stuck out, especially for the price. This place isn't cheap. Maybe I'll try another dish at some point.

This was above and beyond what they needed to do, and they were incredibly friendly. As for the food, the ham and egg croissant was the perfect mix of crispy exterior, soft interior and a wonderful blend of flavour. The eggs were fluffy and light and the ham was flavourful, but not overly salty. The hot chocolate was delicious and was the perfect way to end my day.
