It has no usable free weights--just a few treadmills and a pull-up bar--which is an area that could definitely use improvement. That said, with the variety of facilities on the property and the affordable, nearby condos, this was still a really cool spot overall. I will be returning!

The Knolls is situated on a hillside giving the individual condo units beautiful lake views. There is even main channel lake views from the tennis and basketball courts. Individual Condo Units can be rented through the property owners directly, VBRO, Home Away, or through the Knolls main office. I highly recommend contacting property owners (like Alison N.) directly or using Home Away or VBRO. I have stayed at the Knolls many times and each time I enjoy myself more and more. Things Breakwater Bay has got going on: - A nice pool right on the lake. Loved the depth, how maintained it was, the seating situation, and that it was lit at night! - Close to great eateries: Redheads, Shorty Pants, Margaritaville, Ozark Distillery and more. - Constantly maintaining. A lot of condos are run down in the area and you can tell new paint or replacing a stairway isn't a priority: not at Breakwater Bay! There were many projects in the works. - Staff on site: there was one handyman that worked his tail off everyday! Kuddos to him. - Parking. So every condominium has parking but what I like about their parking is that a placard wasn't needed, it was super hilly and it didn't limit cars. - Boat docks on site. - Unit size. Our unit was a three bedroom two bathroom with a great screen in porch. Loved the layout. You get what you pay for and then some at Breakwater Bay. It's not the most high end spot on the lake-- but it's definitely worth checking out.

Its very easy to find, just off Horseshoe Bend, within the villages of the Four Seasons and right on the water. There's plenty of condos and if you're lucky your deck has a view of the water. There are lots of parking, a playground for the kiddos, indoor and an outdoor pool, hot tubs, boat parking and dock - you name it, its here. Its not far from Osage Beach Parkway where everything is and you can easy get to and from it all.

The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 starts is ReMax tried to throw in an additional fee outside the 3% that's allotted for the buyers agent. If I hadn't read the contract carefully I wouldn't have found it. I don't understand why "ReMax" takes such a big chunk of the sale (plus a fee) when Virginia did all the work. I give Virginia 5 stars, ReMax 2 stars.
