I don't even like staying in our pop-up because it means we have to be near other people, so I usually prefer tent camping for solitude. Holy wow! This place is actually quiet at 10:00pm, 99% of the guests were delightful, the owners and employees went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, and we even participated in their Christmas in July festivities which included a potluck dinner and decorating contest. I will always remember this place and recommend it to anyone passing through or staying at the Ozarks. Love love LOVED it!!! Take your time and read them (including the 5 star ones) I stopped counting at 25 of people who complained about the road and it went back years ago. You try to avoid one pothole or washed out area just to hit the next pothole or washed out area. It was so bad we stayed somewhere else. Id rather loose out on the deposit then destroy my vehicle. ​

Our fifth wheel is long and a few of the spots are tricky, so the owner was nice backup to spot us while we parked it. There is a nice lake for fishing or relaxing and they even have a sweet non-denominational church service on Sunday mornings (in season). If there is only one downside, it's the lengthy entry to get into the park. It's a gravel road that shouldn't be taken quickly. Really looking forward to returning!
