My husband and I brought in our…read morebikes because we were having trouble inflating the tires and I thought they may need to have the innertubes replaced. Not only did Mel inflate the tires for free but he walked us through exactly how to inflate them so that we could do it ourselves in the future (although I would still probably go back to them lol) while doing that, he also noticed that my husband's back brake line was stuck and was able to repair it in under an hour and the price was definitely worth it. It was cool to find out that Mel is also a retired Marine like my own father. While we waited, we walked around the shop and noticed they had a really cool selection of bikes and accessories. If you get help from an employee, they are often knowledgeable and helpful. In my experience, when you first walk in, you're practically accosted by employees offering their assistance. Before you've even had a chance to look at anything. But once you get your ass properly inside the store and you're doing some shopping and comparing, you'd have better luck playing pickup sticks with your butt cheeks than getting the attention of an employee to answer your questions.

I love the whole membership program and how you get rewarded for shopping. I love the kickback at the end of the year and the special sales they offer to members. Ok, so my mom is a big peddler...me, not so much. But when I needed a new tire for my cruiser (yeah, yeah, I'm that chick that looks like she's on a stroll by the ocean when I'm really on the green line), my mom insisted that I come here because she looooooves this shop. I don't really have a story or anecdote other than simply saying that they were super nice and fixed my tire/did a tune up in 24 hours. I don't foresee myself needing to come here a lot but if I ever do decide to become a peddler, I'd definitely frequent this shop! Oh! I noticed they have a $5 a day storage fee if you don't pick your bike up after 5 days...pretty smart because that sign made me pick up ASAP after they called when it probably would have taken me a week or more....because I'm lazy like that.
