First, they have a great assortment of bikes and accessories. So the story goes, went there 2 weeks ago with a friend that wanted a certain e-bike. They didn't have one on the floor but had one in the box that had just come in. The owner took us back to where the e-bike was located in the box to verify that it was the one that my friend wanted. It was indeed. So the owner said to my friend "it'll take me a few days to get it together so let me get your name and number and as soon as I get it put together I'll give you a call so that you can come in and take a look at it". So my friend waited and waited finally at the 2 week mark he then decided to call about the e-bike. He gave his name and they knew nothing about it and said that all of the bikes were put together and were on the floor, and the owner wasn't in. So yesterday we both went back up there to see if the e-bike was there and sure enough it had been sold. The owner then told us he'd be with us as soon as he finished with a customer. We walked around for a short bit then he finished with a customer and started working on a bike in their work area. My friend said let's just go. So we left. He came out after us saying he just finished. My friend said no it's all good and we left. My friend is okay with this whole thing. He says it's unfortunate but he's good. Me on the other hand , being a pessimist wonders why was my friend never called back in the first place. It offended me more that it happened to someone that I know rather than it happening to me personally. It's just an unfortunate experience that took place. This place might be the best in Memphis, I don't know. However that's why I'm giving it the score that I am. read more

Recently took a bike in that I'd been experiencing a few issues. When I first arrived at the shop was told that it needed a couple of things, I said ok no problem. The next day received call telling me it was ready. I thought well quick service. Unfortunately, there was a good reason. They charged $90 for a tuneup. But I honestly don't think they did anything after bringing to their attention the bike still had the same issues they advised that it was supposed to jump or slip gears. It was obvious the "test ride" didn't take place as their website states. The Service Tech stated "no one communicated to him the issue then he tried to sell me a freewheel and rear derailleur and quoted $200-$300 when originally written estimate was $50 for parts and $15 labor. read more

Came here to drop off a bike to be tuned up, and bought another road bike! The affordable prices really got my attention! The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable. Gerald (KHS bike representative) and Andrew (mechanic) definitely helped me pick the appropriate road bike. They were so patience with me. They made adjustments to the saddle and the drop bar and allowed me to test ride it several times on the parking lot until I was comfortable. The staff made me feel really comfortable and they offered exceptional service to make sure I was making the right choice on my first road bike. I had the same experience several mentioned. I went in the first time and left my bike for service. Very nice and friendly. About a month later I went in, there was a younger guy there. It was obvious he didn't want to wait on me. I bought a $100+ digital speedometer. I asked if he would install. He hardly spoke, turned around and unhappily put it on, which took about 5 minutes. Left the 8" zip ties uncut and roughly handed the bike back to me. Haven't been back since. read more

Bike Update: I took my bike to another bicycle shop in town. Turns out my rear brakes were not installed correctly. Really disappointed since the owner of All About Bikes took my bike and attempted to fix the problem. Rather than let me know he couldn't fix it after 20 minutes, he let me leave his store to ride a bike with a rigged up brake system. That's pretty damn unsafe and unethical so STAY AWAY from All About Bikes. read more

The store responded to my email and apologized for my experience and offered to take $100 off the bike's price and give me a $100 credit at the store for future use. I will be posting my pics of my new bike. My husband and I have an appointment to meet with the manager personally to purchase my bike. I am pleased with the outcome after he explained the difference of the bike they have and the one advertised. I've visited this bike shop online before going to the actual store. Online it shows that they have several specials and one in particular that I was excited about. They listed a bike for $299 and so I went to the store with the intent to purchase this bike. The associates in the store were not aware of the special and so they asked the gentleman who must've been the manager about the special. He stated that they had sold out of that bike two years ago. However, they have one of those bikes for $499. The very same bike that they advertised for 299 they wanted me to pay 499. When I asked if there was a coupon or discount especially since they advertised it for 299 I was told no. I had the money to make the purchase but I refused to buy when a company does not stand by their own advertisement. I've heard great things about this bike shop so needless to say I was very disappointed. So back to bike shopping for me hopefully no one else has this experience read more

My son and I went to All About Bikes a couple of Saturday's ago to look at a trike that they had in stock. The man we spoke with was very nice and helpful. The following Monday we went back to purchase the trike. We were also looking at other bikes and we were asking a second man a few questions. He really didn't know anything so we decided to look around and come back later. When we started to pay for the trike and he realized that we weren't going to buy any other bikes right then so he said very roughly to my daughter-in-law "what's wrong with this bike"? We tried to explain we had just started looking. He was very aggressive and rude. I was handed a receipt that had "used bike" on it. I was never told the trike was used, I was lead to believe it was new. In fact when I had ask on a phone call if it was used I was told "no, that it's just been test driven a number of times." I would have still purchased the trike but I would have appreciated not being intentionally mislead. I couple of days later we took the trike in for a few things that needed to be fixed/adjusted. The original salesmen from Saturday was there and would not look up from his phone when speaking to us. He was so overtly rude that it was really incredible. The handgrip kept slipping and when I said that, not looking up he said "hairspray". I didn't know hairspray is how they stayed on - he knew I was new to this. We didn't even bother with anything else because why? He was being very clear with us. The chain had broken in his parking lot and he didn't really care. He did give us a chain but to put it on he was going to keep the trike for close to a week - 48 hours after we bought it. He ask what other things we had questions about- without looking at us. He was clearly rude on purpose. Bikes Plus in Collierville put the chain on that day and was happy to do it. Since we had planned to buy three more bikes in addition to the trike we have been to every other bike shop in Memphis and one in Alabama. Everyone of them set up the bike for the person riding, did a bike check, put on our accessories, etc. All About Bikes did not do this. We paid, the trike came off the showroom floor into our truck. Setting up the bike for the rider appears to be standard procedure at literally every other bike shop. As a double amputee and new to a trike it would have been greatly appreciated. It seemed like as soon as we paid we were dead to them. I don't appreciate the rudeness and being talked to so condescendingly. I've since seen other reviews and comments and this sort of terrible behavior appears to a common occurrence at All About Bikes. My family and I ended up purchasing four more bikes in the last week but we took our money elsewhere. If you are in Memphis check out Bikes Plus - both locations, Trek and Victory. All are world's above All About Bikes. All of them talked to us and treated us like human beings and valued customers. All About Bikes is dead to us now. read more

$100 to fix a flat on my ebike and i supplied the tube. i don't even know what else i can say. Well, 6 months ago they fixed one and it was $50, which is pretty high, but i understand that an ebike with a rear hub motor is a little harder to work on, so I didn't complain. i can't afford $100 plus tax every time i have a flat plus whatever they would charge for a new tube, if needed. read more

I will only go to All About Bikes for all of my bike needs now! They assembled my bike a few years ago, and I've never had any issues with it. Since COVID started, my husband has had issues with his bike. We determined that the freewheel needed to be replaced, but every bike shop I took it in told me they weren't performing any maintenance - just selling new bikes. I took it the wheel into AAB, and they had it removed in 5 seconds. All of the guys were super nice and helpful! Again, I won't go to anyone else now for my bike issues! read more

Took bike in for flat repair and tire wear eval. The staff was friendly when i called them and said a flat can be fixed pronto, bring it in. They did exactly that. Friendly and informative. Assessed tire cond and as i expected needed a new tire because of wear/mileage on tire. Had exact tire to match my front tire. Had it on and me ready to go in under an hour. Installed new grips as well. Positives - staff manner with customers. They are open 10-6 daily except Sunday so convenient and customer friendly. Fast service and and i have found they do what they say for other work as well. Tuneups etc Prices are less than at least one other local shop. Tire installed same tire as i had from other shop and 10.00 less amd no charge to put on grips. Another shop charged me 10.00 to put on new pedals. read more

All About Bikes, LLC completely ripped me off. Being new to biking, I trusted the salesman to sell me an $850 bike that was suitable for me. I am 6'2 230lbs and they sold me a Medium 17.5 size GT bike, just to get it off the floor. After 3 uses, not knowing why I was having problems, a friend told me that the bike I had purchased was way too small. When I went back to All About Bikes to ask the salesman for a return or exchange, I was told "how am I supposed to sell a used bike" and "the only thing you can do now is to try and sell the bike on Craigslist." I am extrememly unhappy with this level of service and would not recommend them to anyone in the Memphis area. read more

I told him about the problem I was having with thorns causing flat tires from riding on the Greenline, and he recommended a thorn resistant inner tube. Bad experience. I dropped two older bikes off wanting them to be thoroughly examined and any old and rusty parts changed. I paid $250 before any work was doneand picked up the bikes a week later and the only changes were new tires, new hand grips and new break lines that werent connected correctly or not the right size because there is an excess of wire where a front peg could go. I took the bikes back two days in a row to try to get things fixed and the men working seened annoyed that I came back.when I asked how they do their labor charges their only response was that they had the cheapest labor in town. I would not recommend this shop to anyone! Save yourself the irritation and go to the Peddler Bike Shop instead.! read more

Nice shop with some real bike smiths in there. They will take good care of you no matter what style bike you have or what type of biker you are. I took my 25 year old Giant bike in for a tune up and it rides better than it ever has.
