Kind of out of the way from central Copenhagen, but worth the drive. What it is is a full-sized professional windtunnel skydiving simulator, just like the pros use for formation training. The reception is somewhat sterile, looks almost like something they'd set up as a fake reception in "Mission: Impossible", but the service is nice and friendly, and you're shown into a locker room where you change into coveralls and get your helmet and gloves. Then its out to the massive vertical turbine outside. The building has an ante-area where you meet your instructor, and an inner chamber, which is the wind room itself, separated from the ante-chamber by plexiglas windows. Each participant takes turns in the wind room with an instructor, while the others wait outside. The entire You only get a few minutes each, but that's OK, because floating weightlessly in an airstream is actually really hard work! Instruction is very professional, and of our group, they managed to get every one of us up and hovering, doing turns, hover to the top of the wind room, and more, in only a few rounds of a few minutes. After the fact, you can get a video emailed to you of your flight. All in all, a great experience, a lot of fun, and a perfect team building experience.

The best part of the tour is to get the vibe for the city from within, getting to the most important spots just like the locals do: biking. The ride is pretty easy on a flat terrain and with multiple sightseeing stops. I love to come here to go for walks with my dog or go for bike rides. It's also great to come here for picnics. The stretch of lawn that sits right next to Bellevue beach, it's a gorgeous green that has families and all sorts of nature lovers lounging and enjoying the weather. Perhaps the most relaxing moment in my whole stay in Denmark happened overlooking the people, the ocean and into Sweden.

Here's why: 1) Space: It's a beach with views of the industrial part of Copenhagen. During non-summer seasons, its less crowded and a great place to dog walk or run. 2) Design: There are two areas with restrooms and shops open during the winter.
