However, I had a schedule conflict so called in to see if it was possible for me to switch to an earlier class. I spoke with Rose and she gladly was able to accommodate my request. I attended Matthew's 8:00 a.m. group class. Being that this is the beginning of my Pilates journey, Matthew did an incredible job at explaining what we were doing so that I fully understood each move. He was also giving feedback throughout the class and helping each person make adjustments as needed. I felt my muscles engaging and felt so satisfied about completing a solid, challenging workout. I also had the opportunity to speak with the owner of ProPilates, Tonka. She asked poignant questions to understand my fitness and personal goals. She also welcomed me to reach out to her for more information. I left feeling amazing and also appreciated the professionalism of the staff. Rose is so friendly! Her approach is informed by knowledge of neurophysiology. Much more comprehensive than the usual local pilates instruction. I have not gone beyond pilates but I believe there are other opportunities with a physical therapist or massage therapist. The studio is large and welcoming.

The gym is always clean and they have a lot of equipment options for a small gym. The classes are fun and challenging. It's been a few months of me going and I haven't run into any issues yet. The parking is in the garage of The Whitney and so far I haven't had any problems with finding a parking spot. This is also a 24 hour gym which is great! For only $60 per month it has almost everything I need plus I get to detoxify in the sauna!

She was engaged, walked around correcting form, and actually paid attention. The corrections were helpful and made a difference. It was challenging in a good way. Definitely felt the burn. My only issue was the music. It was a little too loud. If you're new or it's your first few classes, it can be hard to clearly hear cues and follow along when the volume is that high. It can be a bit overwhelming. Other than that, I recommend taking Kenisha's class.

I'm an avid weightlifter with…read more18 years of gym experience, and wanted to try something new that would challenge me in different ways than normal. A gym friend recommended Solidcore, and I tried my first class via ClassPass. The session was 50 minutes straight, and you definitely sweat a lot (which is good). The instructor will ask if there are any new folks before starting so he/she can assist if need-be. If you're new, be prepared to be a little thrown off with the movements that others are doing, but all you'd need to do is look around or eye the instructor, and he/she will help you with no issues. Also give the schedule a look so you'll know which parts of the body you'll be focusing on beforehand (not every session is the same). Definitely would recommend giving Solidcore a try, and committing if you like it!
