Scum of the earth. First they steal your car, then you have spend money on an uber to get to the place, then they charge you half a thousand dollars to get back the car that they stole. Then they scratch your car and tell you you have to take it up with the city of Miami, because it's not THEIR fault - they just stole your car, and then scratched it in the process, and then charge you $547 to get your car back. Seriously like I'm just leaving this here on the off chance one of those people read it, how do you people live with yourselves when you know you're stealing from people and basically committing theft. This has been one of the most painstaking experiences of my life and I am not exaggerating. Last night, I was in Miami Beach for an event. Soon after that event and its after party ended, I returned to my car that I had happened to park in a parking garage. Specifically, the one on Alton Road and 10th street right across from Whole Foods. I had previously paid for the aforementioned parking garage via Parkmobile. For those unaware, Parkmobile is an application that you can pay for parking online. It has a bunch of useful features like letting you reload money for your spot and reminding you when to do so. I had originally done my parking spot time for 6:30-9:30 PM. Around ten minutes prior to 9:30 PM, I was reminded to extend it, and given that I wasn't going to leave just yet, I extended it to 10:30 PM. Turns out I hit my head at the party and decided to come back before 10:30 PM, expecting to grab my car and head home. Well, guess what? My car was MIA! We figured it was towed, tried to get a hold of the towing company, and nothing. I had to call 911! From there, it became a major runaround. The runaround consisted of calling the owner of the parking lot to discuss why my car had been towed when I had clearly paid and had proof. They tell me to talk to the towing company. The towing company refuses to return my car, claiming they have proof otherwise that I extended my time late. I ask to speak to a manager and nothing. Pay $241 to release the car and discuss with the manager tomorrow or wait it out until the next day. Fortunately for me, I had two levelheaded men with me. Ended up calling the police once again and discussed this. Told them it was going to become a legal matter real quickly as the towing company refused to budge when we mentioned we were going to bring police in. Turns out that the police actually did their job, came, and forced the guy to give me back my car for free. Apparently, it was indeed a system error, but they towed me at 9:31 PM exactly. What does that mean? Technology sucks and these people are predators, looking for their next kill. In this case, technology worked against me and they took my car injustly. If you had told me I hadn't paid, didn't have proof, etc., I would understand, but this was downright unacceptable. The pain, suffering, and inconvenience of this drove me ragged. What's even more unbelievable is that the guy who answered the phone, Chris, ended up being the one the cops spoke to and he did indeed have the authority to give me my car back. Why? Because he happened to be the owner's son! Needless to say, this was a mix of pure laziness, need to make a buck, and just in general torture people. Well, maybe not that last one, but the fact remains that they want your money and are stalking cars and looking for excuses to tow you. More so, if they happen to be wrong, as was the case here, given that the cops agreed with me, they do not apologize. The way that they treat you is as if you are beneath them. And I would also say that being a woman doesn't help either. One in my party of three happened to be a male and he got more respect than I did. I am beyond livid despite getting my car back. This is customer service at its worst and I would give 0 stars if I could. Next time around, I will avoid Paymobile and parking garages altogether. I don't want to deal with this mess ever again. These people are crooks and are out to get you. They don't even care if you mention bringing a cop or a lawyer. They are so used to it that even the cops gave me a look of "not another one of these cases." Oh, and here's a little unknown fact: These people were on a reality TV show where they thrived on doing this to people. Just ugh - no words. Absolutely no words. I know even with all this, I am one of the lucky ones in not having to pay this towing fee, but eh, this shouldn't have happened to begin with. What a way to end the night! read more

Predatory towing. First, if you are using the parking apps like Pay by Phone or Park Mobile, do not get out of your car until it is paid. You have vultures like this company that makes money off of people making honest mistakes. They towed my car as I was trying to do a good deed. I made the mistake of walking to the business before paying for parking (it was delayed because it was pouring rain and the touch pad didn't work until I got in the store and was able to dry off). It cost me $241, put me in harm's way and then they acted like I was an unscrupulous person that would use the guise of charity work to get out of my ticket. In reality, I was purchasing supplies for victims of a recent tragedy, a violent man was arrested right next to me as I was trying to figure out where my car was in the pouring rain and I do always pay for my parking. I have proof to back up everything that I'm claiming. Scummy! Miami should not allow this, but filing a complaint doesn't help. We had parked in the lot next to Texas De Brazil and Monty's which was our destination. Being a beautiful day, and not ever having walked around the area before, my husband told me we should take a tour before our meal. So we hang around the park for a bit, walk back to Monty's and spend a few hours there. Happily having had an amazing day we go look for our car. Its gone. What? Oh yes, it was towed. We find a security officer driving around and at this point I am pretty mad, why on earth would we have been towed? Well it seems that this towing company pays a derelict on a bike to spy on the people exiting the lot and report to them if the people do not enter the retail center next to it. Nice huh? This is what he told us and I distinctly remember said dude because he was hovering around us while we walked around. So you are screwed if you want to take a walk before eating at any of these restaurants because these guys will nip your car. Of course we had to pay for a cab to then show these guys the receipt of the restaurant which we went to and for which we had every right to park in that lot. They had to give us our car back without charging us, they had to. None too happy about it they were. But then again, its a towing company. What can you expect. The tow truck showed up in the timeframe I was given. The driver was polite and careful hooking up my car and driving it to the garage. I am a Fleet Manager located in CT. One of my fleet vehicles was towed by Tremont Towing and it was the driver's fault. I called to see what was needed in order to release the vehicle, especially since we are not in the same state. The woman answering the phone said we needed a notarized letter stating that the tech has permission to obtain the vehicle on our behalf, a copy of valid registration and insurance and a copy of the owner of the companies ID. I repeated these items back to her and she said that was all she needed. She also stated that the total due was only valid until 3:56pm and it was currently 1:08pm. I prepared the letter, got it notarized and then emailed all the paperwork to the supervisor in Florida. They go to pick up the vehicle and the woman states she will not accept a copy of a notarized letter and now she needs the Articles of Organization in order to release the vehicle. She did not tell me that when I had first called. Coincidentally, it was close to the time where the additional charge would be added for another day. Everyone was already out of the office so we couldn't get the to suddenly needed additional required information to release the vehicle and I have already explained that we are in CT so there is no way to get a letter notarized and not have it be a copy if we are not in the same state. So now they have gotten us for another day of storage. They are shady business owners and by reading the other reviews I can see this isn't an isolated incident. read more

This place is full of bottom feeders. They pay a homeless guy a few bucks to troll cars that are one minute past the parking meter then give him a cut of the $250 fee (that's probably the only good they do for society). We were 10 minutes late to get the car in a parking lot and poof, no ticket, it was just gone. I was with my kid who was scared and crying and had his toys and candy in the car. When I went to pick up my car at Tremont, many items were missing from center console and glove box- including my wireless earphones, portable battery charger, and designer sunglasses.
