They said the price was $45 which is much cheaper than what I pay where I live. The issue is that the girl that cut my hair is just learning ( therefore the price I assume) I could have someone at home do my haircut. I don't mind someone learning but another senior person at the salon should have come to review and show this girl how to do it better, so right now I'm still in need of a good haircut and out of $55 with the tip. I asked her to cut my girls' hair in cute chin-length bobs. She cut both of their hair way shorter. She cut it basically up to their ears. They seriously had bowl cuts. It has taken four months for their hair to grow to the chin-length style i originally requested. As for my hair, i was trying to let it grow out. I asked her to try and even out any layers I had and to not add anymore. She definitely cut it shorter than I requested and added layers! I let it grow for three months before I went to another salon. The stylist was shocked at how bad of a cut I had received. Original review-- Karla is wonderful. My daughters and I came in to get haircuts, and we left very pleased with our new hairstyles. My girls are 3 & 4, and they have never had their hair cut so well before. All of the stylist have a passion for hair. They style all types of hairs (ethnic, Caucasian, men, etc.) and the shop is always friendly and warm. There are currently 5 stylist, but some are part time with other careers. My stylist is Crystal Brown Williams. Crystal is a licensed public school Career Technical Education teacher as well as a certified make-up artist and cosmetologist. Teresa, the owner, is a hair stylist extraordinaire. Every one leaves her chair looking so beautiful. Berlyn gives the best shampoo in the history of shampooing. Leisha does some of the best sew in styles I have ever seen. The newest stylist is Erica and her clients always leave pleased as well. The shop is clean and professional. No loud music to compete with the family friendly atmosphere they have established. There is plenty of parking until lunch time and the nearby Mexican restaurant takes over the lot on Saturday but it slows down quickly and is fine on week days. The location is safe and right off Eastchester and not far from the 311 exit. If you are looking for a new salon give them a try.
