You don't imply that you weren't going to call my friend back because she left a "bitchy" voicemail after your employee messed her hair up. She wanted her hair a specific way, and they were unable to deliver, and then got an attitude with us when we came back in wanting it fixed. We had to wait 2 hours for them to open late though. Regardless of what's going on in your own life, please make sure someone's there to open, or at the very least leave a note. I've never left a salon so enraged, and it wasn't even my hair who they messed up. It also appeared to be very disorganized, and not very calming for being a salon&spa. I highly discourage anyone from getting their hair done here. Or at least until they work on their customer service and organizational skills.

I don't think I've ever called my hair 'butchered' after a cut. Well, I was butchered. Got a cut…read morefrom a new stylist there (who was fired a short time later). I figured an Aveda salon graduate would know what they're doing. They didn't. Mistakes happen, and it's unfortunate. I guess I just thought they would back up their work and fix it a little So it was at least remotely symmetrical. I had made this appointment when I did, so I had my hair cut before I underwent surgery. Well, 3 weeks later my kid came over, and was appalled by what they had done to my hair, front and back. I called the salon, not for a refund, but in hopes that someone could spend 15 minutes or so with my hair and get it so it wasn't so horrible. In fairness,they guarantee their cuts for a week, but I wasn't aware of that and was still recovering from surgery, so couldn't make it there. I texted the salon. A manager said I waited too long, and I tried to and explain the surgery thing, and they stuck by their policy. The manager did text me saying I could book a bang trim for another $15. I don't want to end up with someone clueless again, so I guess I'll try again to let those 5 inches in front that are gone now to grow back. I'm 66 with hair to my mid back, but except in the front. I feel that good customer service would have been to apologize, and offer me a bang fix (I can ignore the shelf in the back). Very unprofessional behavior by the management. I won't be returning.

I did have to wait a bit for my stylist, which seemed odd - running late by 9 am when the salon is almost empty? Odd. The wait wasn't too bad though, since it's a nice environment to be in. Otherwise, Annie was gracious and easy to work with. I'm not super thrilled with my cut, but I think that's due in large part to my own mis-instruction. (I asked for a trim and then realized after the fact that I wanted a cut.) So, it's definitely pricier than some other options in the area, but not as pricey as the same experience would be in a larger city. I would visit again since I'm not convinced that the low points of my experience would be repeated.

I made a simple mistake on their new online scheduling system and reached out to correct it. Rather than receiving any understanding, I was met with a rigid "policy," no exceptions. Even worse, Dr. Facer refused to address the situation personally. She left her staff to deliver her decision instead of taking responsibility for the response herself. And that response? I would still be charged for the appointment I accidentally booked -- but I was "welcome" to schedule another appointment for the following week and pay for that one too. That is not customer service. That is not leadership. That is a business owner choosing to hide behind policy rather than help a customer who tried to fix an honest mistake immediately. I was literally preparing to book additional services when this happened. Their unwillingness to show even minimal flexibility made my decision easy: I'll take my business elsewhere.

She told me how great she is at her job and found it useful to tell me half way through our conversation that I was speaking to the owner. Like I care? Hope she treats her staff better than she does her customers. Will never go there.
