Is there a nail or spa place in this shopping center?

There is no nail salon in Trenholm Plaza but there are Urban Nirvana Hair and Urban Nirvana where you can get facials, massages, etc. Lee Nails is located about a block up Forest Drive in the shopping center with Baskin Robbins.

Im a member and volunteer of Historic Columbia, go to their website for all the deets. Ive done a good review of Historic Columbia. They perserve the history of Columbia SC amongst other things in the city. Being a member has allowed me to attend behind the scenes of new projects and keep up with the new preservations of the city. The event " Columbia Down Under" was well planned and open only to members. We met up at the restored Arcade Mall in the DT area in the city. Parking can be a task since DT has become more popular with all the happenings in town. Once we met up inside the Arcade Mall we were gven tickets for light snack food and two beverage ticket. There history slides on a projector explaining the past life under ground. We were given the low down of the evening from the guide, then we went downstairs for the beginning of the tour. They had 3 groups, thankfully I was in the first to go under ground. The steps were a little steep, not to bad though. If you have any respiratory issues I would advice taking a mask with you. Its unfinished in its original state, untouched. For now they have no plans on restoring the "Under Ground". I actually learned quite a bit during this tour. The guide works for Historic Columbia and was very knowledgeable, he welcomed any questions for all us history buffs. This was my first visit to The Arcade but not my last, the buildings architecture is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of shops and spaces to add a business. Its worth a visit if your DT Columbia!

He's an older black man and he hated my guts from the first time I shopped there without a mask. He never said a word until weeks later. He seems to do nothing but stare creepily at customers as they shop. The employees there, who are amazing, friendly people, don't wear a mask all the way half the time. I exchanged words with the manager and his senior manager, an older woman, and they both decided to discriminate against me for having a medical condition which prevents me from wearing a mask even though the mask ordinance is very clear that we are not to be discriminated against for this reason. Nobody at Crazy Cazboys is a medical doctor and they have no business asking anyone to wear a mask. That's a serious medical intervention. You can't ask customers to take a prescription pill to enter a store nor can you lawfully ask customers to cut off their oxygen and increase their carbon dioxide. I'm speaking from 15 years of working in a full body hazmat suit and mask and a BS in Nutrition. I know more about the human body than these people. If you're cool with mask tyranny then they have some nice things to buy. I'll never support a business that treats good, paying customers like they treated me.

Some are thrift-like, some are vintage, some are new. As seems often the case, nearly everything was geared towards women though. My colleague purchase a cute pair of earrings for $16. The elderly gentleman that was running the store was super friendly. Parking is a challenge - there's a double row of metered spots splitting the U-shaped strip mall but every spot was taken (we had walked from our conference/hotel). Turnover seemed decent but there are always several cars circling. FYI we saw a meter maid giving tickets too.

He sent me to a buy/sell/trade establishment, and but they gave me $10 for several silk ties bought at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and still in the wrapping as well as some amazing clothing that my mother had before she died (from Jones of New York and Talbotts, almost never worn). I felt like he thought I wouldn't have anything because of the way I was dressed. (I don't dress up to show my status in the world, and clothes are not that important to me.) I really despise what feels like prejudice, and I cannot believe that he lied straight to my face and didn't even tell me of the other consignment store on the street.
