Played this course today for the first time.
It's 18 holes of undulating countryside in Victoria's Macedon Ranges. The $25 green fee makes it one of (if not the) best value games in Australia.
The greens were superb (Mike Clayton said a few weeks ago that they were the best he'd played anywhere all year) and the fairways in great condition, particularly considering they've had a wet winter.
Visitors can play on Saturdays before 9.30 am or after 3.00 pm. Otherwise, visitors can get on pretty much any time.
Pull buggies are available at $3.00 each, although the bar staff refused to take any money for them from our group. $4 stubbies and a comfortable clubhouse will top off a great end to the round. read more
