Mr. Brook showed up to inspect my crawlspace and literally before he pulled out the driveway, I received an email from him with a quote for $6000 with a 3% discount if booked within two weeks. I thought maybe it was a mistake, as I could not understand, after comparing his quote with the other quotes, how his could be so much less for the same work??? I called maybe six of his 20 or more references and they all were very positive, and said they would use him again; some were business references and they said they use Foothills on a regular basis. I then called Brook and asked if he did veterans, law-enforcement, and or senior discounts, which he did give me an additional 2%. I booked them, they came out on time, Brook introduced me to his crew who were doing the work, and by the end of the day they were done. I was pleased, and my HVAC company, pest control company, engineer, and others who have since gone into my crawlspace, have said what a great job Foothills did. This gave us time to locate coolers and freeze packs to empty the freezer. We had done this before since the freezer was icing up. David arrived as promised. Quickly diagnosed the problem. There were two possibilities and he said he'd try the less costly part first and there would be no service charge if he had to return to install the controller. Unit worked great for several months and I was careful to ensure free air flow. Now at 19 degrees and waiting for David to return! Hoping this Will extend the freezer's life. David explained it wasn't the seal. He didn't suggest lots of parts. Showed up as promised. Also said we didn't have to empty the entire freezer to install the part when he returned to install it. Brandon came to our house because we had a SKUNK under our house. We had lots of questions, he answered them all and told us he wanted to check the trap every weekday. He checked it every weekday and on/or about the third day he caught the SKUNK. Hw e told us there might be a second SKUNK and we asked what to do. He replied that he would reset the trap which he did every weekday for three weeks. Another SKUNK was not found but we feel sure that as Brandon told us, it either left or left and went out on the highway and was killed. Hubby and I have been married almost 53 years. We have had all types of service people in or around our home to do various things. NOBODY , and I mean NOBODY has ever done as good or as complete a job as Brandon did. If I were His supervisor I would give him a raise or at least give him an extra week off with pay. He gets the job done but is a wonderful advertisement for Thompson Brothers .
