He and his crew were hard working gentlemen who tackled a job far more difficult than expected. But they got my EV charger installed and it works perfectly!! If you have a bigger job, give him a call. He drove 40 miles for this install. Since he had worked for Tesla in CA for 6 years, he was familiar with their products. I spoke with the owner, Jonathan Johnson, and discussed the ins and outs. When he arrived he completed the job in short order for a reasonable price. This included the installation of electrical conduit from the charging device to the panel and the rearranging of circuit breakers in the electrical panel. After two short trips to trace out wiring and remove a handful of old fixtures, and being asked some redundant questions regarding where I wanted lighting that had been asked on the first trip; I was invoiced by the primary contractor for 4 hours at $200 an hour!!! I asked for at least the report on where the wires had been traced out and was told that would cost more if I wanted that. Total scam...keep looking for someone honest. As a fellow Veteran, I am seriously disheartened. I hope Award Electric finds its way back to the light someday...for now just run away.
