For the claim, I took my little Pontiac to Belmont Collision as it's right next to my apartment building and it's an ICBC-accredited valet shop. I received excellent service from all the staff at Belmont. They took care of all the paperwork involved for the claim and for my loaner car (a rental from Hertz, covered by my insurance). They arranged everything so that when I dropped off my car, the rental car and the Hertz employee were there to meet me. The work took less than a week to complete (some of the parts took longer than that to ship, but they didn't take the car in until they had most of the parts so they could start on it) and they did such a good job of everything. It honestly looked better after the repairs, and they replicated my decorative vinyl sticker so precisely that I couldn't even tell it had been replaced. The cherry on top was that my car was fully washed inside and out upon return! I was so grateful for that. If my car ever gets banged up again (knock on wood) I will bring it here for sure.

To my shock, the manager on duty, Kevin, responded dismissively and refused to help me, saying the shop was "too busy." Despite my distress, he essentially told me to "eff off." I then took my car to another shop -- also very busy -- and they managed to fix the wiper in under a minute. If a busy shop can handle a simple fix without drama, it's hard to justify staying with Belmont. After two decades of loyalty, I'll no longer use Belmont. My partner won't either. I'll be warning friends and family: if you want dependable service and respectful treatment, go somewhere else. Belmont -- your "too busy for customers" attitude guarantees you won't be so busy for long.

Back in February 21/24 my Dodge Dakota was rear-ended and left me with a protruding out of shape…read morerear bumper. Reported the incident to ICBC immediately and was given the green light to have the bumper replaced. Long story short, I had tried three well known body shops in town which all had long waiting periods for the initial appointments. One after the other gave me the same story we can't find a replacement for the year of this truck. I am now at my wits end and driving on my way home I thought to stop at Craftsman Collision in retrospect I should have tried first. Fast forward four months later after getting the runaround from the other body shops I met with estimator Riley at CC and explained my situation. He immediately got his manager Matt Greenberg involved and within 10 minutes he had procured an aftermarket bumper that matched the original. Matt is a young and personable manager with very good and resourceful connections. Throughout the process his staff were cordial and responsive. After a few days in the shop I had a straight and shiny looking like new bumper. This is a very busy shop but if you want the job done right I highly recommend Matt and his capable staff to look after your vehicle.

When I got there, Ellie looked at the car and gave me an estimate right away. Pricing I though their pricing is more than reasonable and transparent. As it turned out, nothing was broken (as Ellie had suspected). They had to remove the bumper and re-attach it to make it straight. They did it for a flat fee of $125 plus tax. This business has terrible customer service (with one exception... the detail person). The…read moretouchless carwash soap somehow stained my white car pink and green but the manager didn't return my polite calls, was rude when he did finally come by the next day, was completely unapologetic, insinuated the problem was my fault, wouldn't even believe me or talk to me until they reviewed their videotape and only begrudgingly treated the problem after I insisted they take responsibility. The owner never apologized, either for the problem or for the rude treatment I got from the manager. My boyfriend and I were friendly and gave them several opportunities to be courteous and to retain us as customers but they only cared about not accepting blame for the problem. After several hours the car was fixed but they didn't offer a refund, walked away without a word and could have cared less about how I had been inconvenienced by having to drive there twice to get a resolution, and wait around outside while they debated whether or not to deal with the stain. Terrible attitude. Shocking, for a small business.
