I have had to make several follow-up phone calls to get the service I initially requested completed. Despite my misgivings, I added on additional services of which, one has been completed and one was not. I left several messages, none were returned. I decided rather than making yet another follow-up call, I would just leave a review and get someone else to make the repair. All in all, very disappointed with communication. Requested to have a shower door installed and told them I had purchased my own door. I was told it was not a problem and they told me what the installation would cost. They sent out a guy to measure and look at the door I purchased. That guy said it will be a 2 person, 2 hour job and I would get a call later that day from the office to schedule it and to plan on it being two weeks out. No call that day. No call the nest and I called and left a message. Third day I called again and when she answered said she was going to call me. They can't install the door. She didn't give me ANY specific reason. I told her the guy she sent out said they could do that in two hours. Now she tells me they can't do it at all? This will put me out another month if I can get on another provider's schedule. extremely dissappointed in Tri-City Glass. They were supposed to send over an estimator to see what it would cost to repair OR replace our broken crank out windows. Not only did we not get a call to tell us when they were coming but they didn't even bother to show up. Guessing this isn't a big enough job for them. So here's my story with tri city glass I brought a 3ft x 4ft sheet of mirror into them from my old dresser to have cut down to 33in x 34in cut out of the big 1959 dated mirror. It took 4 days to get it back which was fine. Try city called me up and I went to pick it up. I asked where is the other part of my mirror? He said we don't have it! it is in the dumpster! They replaced it with a 3'x3' piece but I had to come back tomorrow to pick it up. I agreed to that and I went home with my cut down mirror. I Put the mirror in the back seat of my truck wrapped up in my sweater. I got home and took it out of my sweater and placed it directly in my cabinet. I stood back and looked at it and there had to be 15 scratches in it I couldn't believe it I brought it to them without any scratches in it and I get this shit in return. So I have to go back and pick up my 3x3 piece tomorrow. I can wait and talk to them then. I wasn't going to waste another trip out there. So two days go by and they call. I go out and pick up the 3x3 piece with the scratched mirror wrapped up in my sweatshirt again. Take it to the counter and told them it's all scratched up after I brought it home and looked at the mirror. They told me that it wasn't our mirror and there is nothing they can do for me and here is your other 3x3 piece of mirror. I was furious and I left and told the ass hole that took my order it's going on the internet so hear it is. I brought my truck in on Friday for scheduled windshield replacement. Friday they called and informed me the glass the had received was scratched. I let them keep the truck over the weekend. They told me my windshield would be installed first thing Monday morning. I arrived at 4:15 on Monday afternoon. They told me truck was not ready yet. I needed to wait 20 min for the glue to dry. I asked why it wasn't finished. It was supposed to be the first one of the day. I was told other jobs took priority over mine. I was very upset after there first mistake made me loose my truck for the weekend. Then to be told I wasn't a priority. This to me is horrible customer service!!! Why am I not important? I never told them I wouldn't be there until 4:15. And they close at 5 so they barely finished mine. I would not recommend them to anybody. Unless they want to be treated poorly. read more

Part of buying my new house was 5 windows would be replaced. They were to be replaced in July 2018. As of now the middle of September they are out to my house again (4th time) and still don't have my windows. Everytime there is another problem. Will NEVER use these people for anything but to give me lot's of headaches. After just moving in and things are everywhere one guy even made a comment about how I need to clean my house! read more

I was on the highway when a piece of gravel flew up and chipped my windshield (about the size of a pencil eraser, and no spreading). My insurance agent told me to call Tri-City glass because it was close to where I was staying and she had only heard good things, so I did. The woman on the other end quickly set up an appointment for me for two days later. Great. She also tells me to park my car out of the sun and to leave my car unlocked. Ok. The technician comes out and cracks out my windshield because apparently it was too hot (this is YOUR job, if it is too hot, then wait). So I call back and the woman says that now it is my responsibility to pay to have the windshield replaced! My deductible is $500 and a new windshield is about $450... wonderful. We eventually came to an agreement, and I paid $250 for the windshield and no service fee... so the technician comes out yet again and puts in a new windshield... but lo and behold there are 2 scratches in the NEW WINDSHIELD (so deep you can feel)! Of course I notice this after the guy has left so he comes back out yet AGAIN the next day to buff our the scratches in the supposedly new windshield. The technician was very nice, but come on Tri-City...get it together! read more

Had them remove & reset a leaking windshield on a 2003 Explorer. Very prompt & professional service at their Appleton shop. Reasonable cost and only the work needed was done. Warned it would be possible old windshield might crack but it didn't. Highly recommend. read more

LOOK ELSEWHERE for any glass repair. I am a big fan of supporting local businesses, but this business is about as bad as you can get, and I'm amazed they are still in business. I ordered a replacement window for my living room, and after weeks of not hearing from them but already paying a down payment, I called them and found out that my window was in their shop, and I could schedule to have someone come out. They came out and installed it, and only after the installation did they realize that it was not only the wrong type of glass, but the wrong grid layout. They said they would rush order a new window, but after waiting over a month, I had again not heard anything from them, and so I called and found out that, as before, the window was in the shop, and they just hadn't called to schedule it's installation. When it finally was installed, I was told that they don't usually call to schedule the installation (like they say they do); they wait for you to call them. This helps keep their schedule easier to manage. After inspecting the work that they did, I saw that the woodwork on the window frame was cracked and they used shiny silver nails to repair it, which stands out and looks bad. TLDR: Poor customer service, no warehouse validation of correct parts received, damaged window frame after installing glass, 3 months wait to replace a single window. read more
