Not only was it an excellent treatment with wonderful service, let me tell you a few reasons why I think you should go to Sages' Healing Center: 1) Their services are personal, down-to-earth, and friendly. I didn't feel awkward or pushed into purchasing extra services. Dr. Kate and Damon both greeted me and talked with me. I can pretty much promise you that if you are a bit put-off by naturopathic or East Asian medicine, you won't feel like you're entering a funky other world. They are very approachable and will make you feel like a million bucks! 2) Their office is clean and comfortable. (And... free tea!) Everything was really clean. It was also in a convenient location, right off East Gurley street on your way in to (or out of) town. 3) Dr. Kate and Damon were really cool about offering advice that would help me for my future wellness. I live in Oregon and won't be back to Prescott for a while because of work, but they were still concerned about my health and gave me some suggestions for lifelong wellness based on my time with Damon. I ended up leaving with some supplements to help keep me well during my holiday vacation. If you're living in Prescott (or anywhere in Yavapai county!) and you're looking for a whole wellness center, definitely check out Sages'! You won't regret it!

They knew that I was in a money bind and still gave me the best possible treatment while working within the constraints of my budget, which meant that I received everything any other client/patient receives, thus losing some potential profit in the deal. However, this is the essences of the Sage's: their first priority is the wellness and quality of life of their clients. And I am on the road to recovery from an illness that was mystifying to my Western Medicine physician. Thank you so much, Damon and Kathryn, for caring about my health more than your bottom line. It is a quality that separates you from so many other physicians; it makes you beautifully unique!

The front desk MA was thorough and courteous when it came to making sure my insurance booked my return trip to the Pharmacy.  Otherwise, this visit to Nextcare was a complete disappointment. The MA that checked me in was short and rude in her responses. Especially when it came to any questions I had before my appointment. When she swabbed me for the flu and Covid test, she did so so carelessly that it hurt beyond it should have. In the end, I just let it go and chalked it up to lack of proper training and poor bedside manner. However, the practitioner herself was also unhelpful. I waited a long time to see her and then felt the time she spent with me during the appointment was rushed. I have a persistent infection with zero relief to show from my efforts of going to an urgent care. I was never even shown the results of the flu swab- this experience is a stark reminder of the importance of seeing the physical evidence of test results with my own eyes.  I am left with stuffy, painful sinus congestion, a tender swollen neck and a persistent cough that keeps me up at night and bothers me throughout the day. The over-the-counter medication I take is not working, which tells me something went overlooked and something else is truly wrong despite what I was told. I will not be returning to this Nextcare if this provider is the one seeing patients. I will be asking beforehand and I will advise anyone I know that visits this location to do the same. This experience was a true letdown and it's a shame because it's the only Nextcare in the area that I'm aware of. Any other visit I've had here has been beneficial, the staff has been helpful and courteous. For those visits, my needs were addressed appropriately.

Dr Gordon may or may not be a good Cardiologist, but his office certainly is worthless. I went to…read moresee Dr Gordon after a minor stroke at my primary care physician's request for a heart monitor. At first, he seemed confused as to why I was there but finally figured I needed a monitor which, they arranged, and he also prescribed a TEE procedure that he did not do in his office. His office supposedly contacted the hospital to arrange. The hospital said it was unusual that a cardiologist wouldn't do this procedure himself and said they would have to contact other cardiologists to try to arrange. Never heard back after repeated contacts to both Gordon's office and the hospital. As for the heart monitor, I returned it per their instructions. However, I never received the results. I contacted Gordon's office numerous times for the results and my Primary Care Doctor tried at least 2 different times with no results. However, Gordon's office was very punctual in billing me and demanding payment for the amount the insurance companies did not cover, even though they did not give me the test results. My advice, look elsewhere for a Cardiologist.

The hospital staff, nurses, doctors, nurse assistants and the therapy staff were very efficient and friendly and knowledgeable of my condition and needs. The dining room food was good with many choices plus they are informed of each patients dietary restrictions. The staff if very friendly and helpful to your needs. They also have an inexpensive meal program for your family who might be visiting during a meal time. Over all I would recommend this hospital if you are serious about getting back on your feet safely as soon as possible with the proper PT and OT therapy. Carol S.
