Dr. Sherilyn Tittermary McCollum agreed to see me within 30 days of my recent hospitalization. I had a family member that was treating with her partner but no referrals or any recommendations for this office. I just got lucky. Upon arrival I was seated at a computer station where I did a very extensive medical history and symptoms profile. It took over 25 minutes to complete so I suggest coming early to complete this. I don't know if completing the profile before arrival is an option but I would ask. When i meh the doctor I was shocked because she looks so young but she definitky knows her stuff. She did a long review of my problem and my medical history. She also referenced things from the documentation I sent before my appointment which tells me she took time to review and prepare for my appointment. This is rare today and much appreciated. She also completed an exam that was pretty extensive as well. This doctor doesn't do short cuts. At the end of my appointment we reviewed all the next steps and testing I needed. I just got 11 tubes of blood drawn for all the tests she ordered and Im hoping we get some answers. Thank you to the staff and doctor for getting me in and hopefully on track with my medical issues.

Traveled an hour (gas prices over $5 by the way) was stuck in horrible traffic. Called and called along the way to say I was stuck and would "still be there!" But only got voice mail of course. I was 13 min late. 13!! I waited in line to check in. Then was told I would have to reschedule. After waiting two weeks to make the appointment over the phone...Then 1 month to have the appointment. And 13 minutes ?! I'll die of frustration and old age before an autoimmune disorder. Oh and big fun, I got to drive the hour home in rush hour which made it much longer and even more frustrating. This business has tested my patience. And I'm the most even tempered person, and I've have never written a review. Just such a shame I felt compelled to do it tonight.

In my opinion she has little empathy or compassion for a family touched by RA and she can be very abrasive. Calling the office is a nightmare. You can be on hold for 15 minutes plus. I hadn't been in the office in a while, and I started receiving text messages asking me to come in for a "Free" checkup. I went into the office and saw a new doctor, she was very nice. During the exam, she asked if , i wanted a Shingles vaccination. That I wasn't told, I would be billed for it. I guess, I assumed the vaccination was covered by my Medicare or Keystone 65. I left the office. A few weeks later , I received a bill for $362. Turns out the vaccination was not covered and I'm being charged $362. for a shingles vaccination that is given for FREE at most Pharmacies. I tried talking to them, my wife who worked for Temple Health for a number of years called and spoke to them. They insist that I have to pay for this supposedly "Free" Doctor's visit. I'm on a low monthly Social Security Check. I basically have money for food and a roof over my head. I tried to explain my problem and was just blown off because Temple Health doesn't have anyway to adjust their billing for this Injustice . I guess I won't be able to buy groceries for a few weeks. "My Doctor should have told me there was a charge for a vaccine", that I didn't need, or really want. Temple Health had been Hounding me for 7 months for payment , through repeated texts, email, and phone. Be very careful of this office . You could easily be misled and harassed like I am being now.

Then finally someone asked if I had an appointment and said someone would be right with me! So she does and luckily it's one of the nicest woman who work in the office. She took my blood pressure and it was good, but I am sure if she came back in and took it now it would be elevated! After reading online reviews I was looking for a rheumatologist ANYWHERE else. After finding no local success with a reasonable appointment, I decided that I had no choice. I'm so glad that i didn't wait for another doctor farther away. Dr Udell is patient, kind, timely and very knowledgeable. He does hum during the appointment but it's not rude nor was it annoying. It was actually comforting to me. The staff was very kind to me. The only reason I only gave 4 stars was the office decor is very outdated in my opinion. But as long as the doctor does a good job, I can over look the decor. Update: I saw Dr Udell for a few more visits. I felt dismissed and called a liar when I reported back to the doctor that I had an allergic reaction to a medication he prescribed. He told me that no one would be allergic in a few doses. He told me that there was nothing more that he could do and told me that I should exercise by walking around a mall. I wonder if he would have would have said that to a man.

I had an appointment with Dr. Jill Johnson about a week and a half ago for arthritis pain in both…read morehands and painful heberden's nodes on both pinkies. I brought x-rays and the report and indicated I had blood work done as well. Dr. Johnson basically said I had to live with the pain since it didn't appear to be psoriatic arthritis (I have psoriasis) or rheumatoid arthritis. There was no mention of treatment options such as occupational therapy, cortisone shots, etc. She suggested over the counter pain relievers such as Aleve, which I obviously used when I initially began having pain. When I expressed that I had difficulty accepting a "you just have to live with it" treatment, she told me to wait and see if it gets worse and then I could call them again. I went to a specialist to be somewhat preventative, even though I was already having pain and visible signs (nodes) that something was wrong, instead of waiting until I basically have no movement in my hands to be "eligible" for treatment! I have never written a review before, but I felt that Dr. Johnson's "treatment plan" to "just live with it" was such an injustice that I do not want anyone else to waste their time or money. I am only in my early 50's, and while I would find her "diagnosis" unacceptable at any age, it is appalling to me that a doctor would say that when someone potentially has several decades of life left to live. Please use this review as 1) a strong recommendation not to see Dr. Jill Johnson, and 2) a reminder that it is absolutely okay to question doctors, not agree with them, and get 2nd opinions.

AND YET, they gave me an appt. three weeks away. That is unforgivable! Temple gave me an appt. the same day, because they understand the risks and danger involved, unlike Ringpfiel. I'm very grateful I found out the lack of concern Ringpfiel has for its patients before I got involved with them; it could have cost me my life. Ringpfiel has demonstrated its low standard of patient care. "FIRST, DO NO HARM!"

The staff was super friendly and helpful figuring out how my insurance would cover the visit. The doctor didn't make me wait long at all and took one look at my "reason for coming" and knew exactly how to fix it and fixed it while I was there. I wasn't looking forward to coming in, so I'm glad it was pretty painless and will be coming in next time the need arise.
