Procedure prices…read more I'm so done with UC. I was trying to schedule a procedure recently and they wouldn't tell me what my cost obligation would be. I refused to schedule the procedure until I knew what it would cost me out of pocket. The staff just kept cluelessly saying "well...it's usually covered..." Not good enough folks. After several back and forth phone calls trying to establish prices one person finally told me they wouldn't tell me the price until after I chose a date because procedures are different prices on different days. I asked if I could choose the most affordable day for me and they said no. So it wasn't "probably going to be completely covered", huh? So I have to hope I randomly choose a day I can afford? I chose to not do the procedure with them. This isn't the first time UC has been a headache about procedures. They once CANCELLED a surgery of mine at the last minute (less than 24 hours before) because some fool in the office misread paperwork and thought I was uninsured. I was insured, everything was approved, they just screwed it up because they had no idea what they're doing. People at my work rearranged vacations so I could fit in this surgery and UC got me in so much trouble. It was a diagnostic surgery that they delayed. So my diagnosis was delayed. Then they lost all of the records of the surgery. The photos, notes, and reason for my diagnosis, all "missing". They still had the bill though, so for years I had to pay for a surgery that supposedly didn't happen with supposedly no results. So, they delayed my diagnosis and severely delayed my treatment. I have over a dozen more examples. Don't bother with UC, go anywhere else.

1-Star Review Title: Corporate Dictators, Not Caregivers If…read moreyou want a healthcare provider that treats you like an individual human being, listens to your concerns, or collaborates on your care, stay far away from this office. I am a long-term patient who has successfully managed my blood pressure with Lisinopril for 30 years without issue. During my recent visit, I requested to temporarily delay elective, routine baseline labs because I am currently making major, successful lifestyle modifications and want my body to settle into its new baseline first. Instead of treating me like an adult or working with me on a reasonable timeline, the nurse practitioner became instantly militant, combative, and completely shut down the conversation. She refused to let me speak or explain my health timeline, and immediately resorted to coercion--threatening to completely withhold my critical maintenance blood pressure medication unless I complied with their demands right then and there. I had to demand a manager just to secure a basic 30-day refill so I wouldn't go cold turkey. When I escalated this to the practice manager, expecting professional oversight, he doubled down on the same rigid, "check-the-box" corporate bureaucracy. They made it completely clear: their mandatory quotas and insurance-driven protocols matter more to them than patient autonomy, dignity, or safety. This is not a patient-friendly clinic; it is a corporate medical factory in bed with the insurance companies to maximize lab fees. They don't listen, they don't collaborate, and they will gladly withhold your maintenance heart medication to force you into compliance. Save your time and your money, and find a real doctor who respects your rights as a patient.

Ever show up to an appointment 10 minutes early and get a lecture about being late? That's how my experience began. Then, after collecting my information I am told they won't see me because my secondary insurance is Caresourse and I have to pay out of pocket. Okay, how much? Doesn't matter, we only take payment, no insurance for what I needed. Again, how much? We won't see you. You mean you refuse to see me? Isn't that against the law? We're private, we don't have to follow the rules. Hmmm. Can I talk to the practice manager? Sure. Person, looking very sloppy for a medical professional comes out and continues with the company line. Never seen a business that won't take money. Anyway, ask for practice manager's name, crickets. Ask for name and number of overall manager, given no name but general number. Ask for name again, get name, maybe - when I called they never heard of person- then get called asshole behind my back. I guess there's a reason corporate never heard of this person. Maybe they don't exist. Not sure I'd trust these folks to apply a bandaid if this is their idea of quality patent care.

Now I'm two days sicker and all they will do is offer to do more lab work and make me wait another two days. If all you want is a strep or Covid or flu test you might be ok going here because they do those in house, but for anything more complicated do not trust your health to this place.

The service is always good, and anytime, you have questions or need rescheduling your appointment, you can always call and solve your problem, which is very good. Compare with Shanghai, the hospital there is so busy, and you really won't be able to talk to your doctor or nurse on anything on the phone except you go to the hospital. What i don't like is every time i went there, it's a long waiting. Sometime i could wait for two hours for my appointment. I guess I'm an easy patient, never use more than 30 mins of the doc time. But i guess the nurse could schedule the appointment base on patient, some patient require more time, then give them more time. Just don't schedule everyone at 30 mins interval. My doctor has been disappear for almost a year now, i have been seeing the nurse practitioner two times this year, finally this time i get the new doctor! She seems nice. But i still hope my original doctor could recover soon!
