They got me in quickly, diagnosed me and prescribed me medication. They were great! The bad: I went in for a sty that just kept getting worse. After seeing them twice, I went to another clinic and they gave me the proper medications that resolved my issue. I suffered for weeks unnecessarily because they didn't give me proper medicines. I think they can handle your run of the mill colds, flu and like, but avoid for anything outside of that.

So over a year past the first two people to review.** My first time going in was Thanksgiving day 2009, since my doctors office was closed and I had a bad sinus infection or strep, I forget. And I was not about to go to the emergency room for that. I was just happy to go see a doctor when I needed it without having to pay an arm and a leg for a copay. The wait was not all that long, but they only take walk-ins, so if many people are sick, you will have to wait. Just how it goes. If its a real emergency, GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM!!! I've dealt with two different doctors while there, both quite competent doctors who were easily able to help me out. And after running tests that did not take too long, knew how to treat me. I only go here when my own doctor can't take me in (due to holiday, them being closed or too busy). If you are sick, in the area and need to go see a doctor and can't wait for the holiday or weekend to pass or for your own doctor to free up their schedule, this is a good place to go to. Its open late (until 10 pm, I believe) and open holidays and weekends.

I came in today with another sore throat. This isn't strep - a rapid strep test at another doctor came back negative. The doctor I saw today could only be described as unprofessional- right down to his Hawaiian shirt, which I could have overlooked had the service I received here been adequate. He seemed utterly uninterested and dismissive of my symptoms. My lymph nodes were swollen, the entire right side of my throat is on fire. After feeling my neck for a moment, he said that he guessed they can take a throat culture. He walked out of the room (he talked to me for maybe 2 minutes; the waiting room was empty. There were 0 other patients for him to help) and he sent a nurse in to do the throat culture. I was dismissed with no more answers, which would be fine if he had seemed remotely interested in getting me the best treatment. Just go to another urgent care. There is one in Hyde park plaza, and I've been to the Med+ one on Montgomery and it was nice.

Then the dental piece in my mouth it was metal popped out my mouth because it wasn't placed properly and snapped on my face. No apology or anything.
