They did remove the branches--and maybe one more than expected--but overall, the work itself was fine, and they cleaned up the debris. That said, the customer experience left a lot to be desired. Communication was lacking throughout, except when they repeatedly followed up for the deposit. They didn't tell us in advance that our driveway and front street needed to be clear for their truck, so my partner had to rush home from work to move the car. After the job, no photos were shared, and when I asked about the price and 3% credit card fee, they pointed to the contract. Fair enough--but it would've been helpful if they had mentioned that upfront. I offered to send cash or a check to avoid the surcharge, but they said credit card is now the only accepted method. Between the lack of communication and inflexibility, I wouldn't recommend them based on customer service alone. Hopefully the residue left on our vinyl fence comes off with a hose.

So why didn't A & H's team show up until closer to ten? "They're coming, don't worry." Easy for him not to worry; I'm the one paying. When I asked Javier about it, "don't worry, you'll get reimbursed back for the time." -Never happened. Never saw a dime of that back. 2.-A year later, needed to get the remainder of the stump ground down. They wouldn't commit to a day or time, or time frame. Told me they'd give me notice. They texted me an hour before. I wasn't home. Did they grind it? -Hardly. They were there and left within 45 minutes, and lo and behold, the stump was not ground sufficiently. 3. We had to have them come back, further cost, and at no point do they EVER remove the mulch. So this is just cost upon cost. And yet again, no communication. 4. At no point do they communicate clearly. Javier seems bothered, constantly. People are dropping thousands of dollars for services, and he seems annoyed, quite frankly. Would leave messages, for about 2 weeks continuously getting told someone would call back. -I'd wait a few days, no call back. The most frustrating experience.

He also put in a rock swale on the edge of the fence and as a result the hurricane hit in 2021 and we barely noticed. Our yard was stable and dry while neighbors on both sides were flooded and eroded. All of his staff were extremely professional and neat and there were no surprises on the costs. Everything is fully grown out and Danny has stopped by a few times to make sure everything was growing in nicely. They did the leaf cleanup for us this past season and left everything spotless. The town building inspector was impressed with how well they handled the slope. To the point of some of the other reviewers, yes, sometimes you have to wait if you want the best people but it's worth it.

No phone call for that either I guess they just don't take their business seriously OR they just don't need the business or my money. But don't waste my time! He mentioned our wasn't large and that the job was relatively simple a few hours or so within the next few days. I had someone with me who I had to double check with when they told me two days later, "you're new here, I know you don't understand, but us getting to you in two weeks is a gift!" I don't need a gift I need to deal with a good reputable business man and his receptionist. Who in fact do not lie. Our quote for clean up was INSANE, they apparently just did what people do when they dont need the business and quoted me an astronomical price for yard clean up and weed removal. I went with someone else for this. The grass was taken care of by them and the quote they gave me in fact did not include tax! Why would the price not be clear from the start? It seems nothing about this company was clear honest or present. I am sure people love Danny but this entire experience was far from the warm welcoming that should hav been prompted. Lastly, I own a small business and if I treated people the way I was treated by this company I would not blame clients for canceling or not showing up!. I asked them not to return after 6 lawn cuts because to be frank even those for my "small area" were sub par.
