One year later bike has a stumble and almost stall when coming to a stop after driving a few miles. Went in and asked to talk to a tech and was told no you can't talk to a tech. The sales department is all about selling you a bike but the service department is a joke. My bike still has a warranty and I live 10 minutes from them but I'll take it 2 hours away to another dealership before going to them ever again.

I had recently moved to Corpus and wanted something I could use at home. There weren't many reviews for this business, but my doctor mentioned Hest Fitness and told me they have a variety of fitness equipment. My first choice would have been to purchase something from Costco, but there is no Costco in Corpus, so I went to Hest because they have the equipment in the showroom. The salesperson Michael showed me the CS3 said it was their top seller for an all over workout. I liked it and thought I was going to get good use out of it . Soon after I purchased it I found it wasn't working out, so I contacted the salesperson, he encouraged me to keep using it, basically said returning it was not an option. I ran into the salesperson again at the Home and Garden Show in February and I told him I wasn't getting a good workout, so he asked me questions, demonstrated how to use it and recommended I use the manual setting with intervals. He said if I attempted to exchange it, I wasn't going to be happy with my options. I did all that he recommended, but when I raised the resistance my back bothered me. I went back to the store in March and talked to him about it again. He said he spoke with the owners and they would give me $700 credit towards the purchase of something else. All equipment is pricey, so you can't purchase anything for $700. I recently spoke with the General Manager Joseph Gonzalez, he gave me a couple of options both result in the store making more money and me either losing money or spending even more. He offered to sell it for approximately $ 1,500 and I would get 50% cash back. Or 60/40 if I purchase something else. I asked him how he determined what price he would set it at and he said no one will want to pay that much for a 1999 model??? Yet, they sold me that model in October 2018, never told me what model year they were selling me, bragged that one of the Athletic Clubs had one as well. I am very disappointed and feel as though I have been treated as an unvalued customer- I did all that I could in good faith to communicate with the store. To this day I have not been contacted by the owners. In my opinion this is not a professional establishment. If they stand behind their products, then they should be willing to do at the minimum an exchange for a comparable valued product. Not give me 1/3 credit for a product that is still almost brand new. I will make sure I tell everyone I know what a bad experience this has been including the doctor who told me about Hest Fitness. Needless to say, I now have a CS3 in excellent condition sitting in my living room, that I now have to look at with disappointment and hope that I can sell on my own.

I got back here to Port A and decided it needed a new muffler. A timing check and linkage check. New shocks etc. I called here and Jesse was so nice and offered to come take a look at it for me. Unfortunately I bet my husband it needed these things. And I am the one that found it and test drove it. Very cute one tho. Lol Jesse came took it for a drive down the road to his shop and looked it over. When he came back I was blown away. He said it was a sweet deal I got. In excellent shape. Everything. Well maintained. I lost my bet and now that I know that it's a great deal and that's how they sound and drive, I love it!!! Since then I have seen some that are same as mine and yep that's how they sound and drive. To top it off he gave me a free consultation! Now that's good business. We are going to have him do our brake lights and turn signals and also coat underneath the cart to avoid ant rusting. Great feeling knowing I am covered here on the island with my cart. No matter what happens.
