The North American section made me giggle. I grabbed some fancy French mustards and cookies to bring home for friends and family. Unsure if any locals actually come here or if it's ALL tourists. The layout was extremely confusing to me. Now, I'm sure there are some simply fantastic elements to this store that evaded me due to the sea of people inside. But, I think Erewhon had more going for it. Artistic, clean, bountiful displays of produce. More organization, better lighting, etc. I felt like I could actually see the products at Erewhon, whereas here I was fighting with a lot of noise.

I thought this was going to be my first high level bird in the City of Light. Much to my chagrin, the one I got was just lukewarm. I was ready for my fingerprints to be fully burned off. There was so much potential here, but as always, I have to judge what's in front of me. If I don't have my integrity I have nothing. It landed at an 8.1/10 on the restaurant scale which is good, but if it was hot it could have been up there with the greats in the rare 9 territory.
