We enrolled our child at this school with the expectation of a developmentally appropriate and…read moresupportive learning environment. Based on our family's experience, it was not the right fit, and withdrawing was the best decision for our child. In our experience, the school places a strong emphasis on obedience, compliance, and respecting authority. For our child, this emphasis often felt prioritized over academics, emotional development, and age-appropriate flexibility. We observed that normal childhood behaviors such as hesitation or resistance around nap time were treated primarily as discipline or compliance issues rather than developmental needs. We attempted to communicate and seek alignment with staff regarding our child's emotional and learning needs. While conversations occurred, we did not see changes that made the environment feel supportive or sustainable for our family. This review reflects our personal experience only. The school may be a better fit for families who prefer a highly structured, authority-driven approach. For families seeking an environment that emphasizes emotional regulation, flexibility, and allowing young children to be children, we would encourage careful consideration and thorough questions before enrolling. Ultimately, withdrawing was the right decision for our family, and we share this review to help other parents make an informed choice.

We love Killian Hill Christian School. This school has an amazing, highly professional, and…read moretechnically proficient faculty that truly loves children. The staff education level is very high, replete with advanced degrees, so the children are taught from a position of expertise. We have two elementary school boys there and the academic program is very challenging. They are taught advanced leadership skills like public speaking, dictation, and presence from at least the third grade, so we have been quite impressed. I am convinced that Killian Hill Christian School is an institution dedicated to excellence that will be producing leaders for years to come. Special mention to the elementary principal and school staff for creating a stellar, safe, inclusive environment for children.

I have two that have dyslexia that came in remediated, but they do have a remediation program. There is academic support. Those teachers are amazing and push into the classroom in elementary school. the teachers are supportive, communicative, and available accessible and connected with our kids. My kids are involved in sports music, dance, arts , theater. There are a lot of opportunities to be outward facing service projects, mission trips. While I appreciate that, my kids are taught the Bible and a relationship with Jesus and the teachers reflect that my kids also have a diverse group of friends that come from different religious backgrounds, economic, backgrounds, and political backgrounds, which aren't emphasized, but there is a variety of demographic. My son instance has friends that are Hindi, Punjabi, agnostic. My kids are taught not just about Christian world views, but different religious world views, different scientific views like evolution in biology (which someone for some reason said they aren't taught) and they're taught from a scientific standpoint not trying to dispute the scientific theory. As rhe get older, they have opportunities to question, debate, express their opinions in different classes and that's encouraged because they don't want the kids to be programmed robots. As I stated earlier, their families of different economic backgrounds, but that is not something that is known or something that at least for my kids they don't care if they have a lot of money or don't have a lot of money. It's just not important in the grand scheme of things. They have a diverse group of friends and I find that a lot of my friends kids find their niche. They find their people because there's so much variety and diversity. Well, they do a annual fun fundraiser. You could donate a dollar and still participate with zero judgment or not at all. There is a level of understanding from learning disabilities to economic to religious backgrounds that is accepted without judgment. Of course there's gonna be jerk kids at every school, but that's the minority and not the majority.

My daughter has been there for 3 years and enjoys it. Her principal is awesome along with her supporting staff. GAC reminds me of DODDEA schools because often times the teachers children attend school there as well. Therefore they get the skinny on somethings going on due to their kids. My son loved his teachers and administrators to include the Principal. He stated there are things that happen that he was not happy with and did not want to go back. Had nothing to do w the teachers or administration. We are minorities and I have always been treated with the outmost respect from each principal on all 3 levels. I am disappointed some May feel this way but me and my family bleed GAC all day. GAC 4 life. Happy holidays

They hired an incompetent history and language arts teacher two weeks before school started and then fired him, calling him incompetent a few weeks before school ended and notified parents of such via email. Hence, my child's entire year was taught by an incompetent teacher. No refund! Their "Spanish" class is really Spanish arts class, don't think it's the Spanish language. They often asked and currently have mostly parents as teachers who give their children an advantage in grades. They falsely advertise after-school programs that do not exist and/or fall apart when school starts. I've had parents share with me their horrible discipline policy which they themselves do no follow. There are definitely strong allegations of racism in this school. They do not have strong Christian values; it's all pretend. You can see it in their eyes and fake smiles. Certified teachers do not stay long there. There is a high turn over of teachers because the working environment is hostile. They over charge in tuition and then ask parents to pay additional costs and volunteer for what the school should provide. They told us that they receive state funding that they really should not be receiving because they have not completed certifications and have barely made headway. This admission alone showed dishonesty. I could go on and on, but this is a brief summary from a parent of a former student. I would not send another child there.
