Since day one, it was nothing but a pleasure having our daughter there. Mrs. Nargis created a wonderful Montessori school, with a very familial feeling. From infancy to almost two years old, Mrs. Rima cared for our daughter almost as if she were her own. Our daughter looked forward to going to school every single day because of the fun comfort, education and love Mrs. Rima provided. I cannot recommend this school enough if you are looking for educated, trustworthy, warm and compassionate people to care for your child.

Our kids had previously gone to a Korean daycare and we speak mostly Korean at home for retention, so our kids spoke very little English in the beginning of the school year. Director Ms. Nargis advised us not to worry, as kids can pick up English quickly -- indeed, she was right! By the end of the school year, both kids had learned to speak English decently well, could read simple books, and write simple sentences. My first child went on to Kindergarten and tested out of ESOL. We liked that students work on fundamentals like reading, writing, and math at a desk, but they also have independent play time to choose a hands-on activity around the classroom. They also clean up after themselves. AAIMS has a big outdoor playground for recess and they have weekly Playball time. AAIMS also offers ballet, karate, tennis, table tennis, and Spanish lessons for those who want to sign up, at a reasonable extra cost. AAIMS holds events to highlight the various cultural backgrounds of the students, which we really appreciated. Overall we're very thankful for the intellectual and emotional growth we've seen in our kids!

We found Majestic Preparatory Academy and was amazed from day one! Teachers and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They are always willing to spend the extra time needed with my child or to answer any questions we may have. Student to teacher ratio is 10 so the teachers have the ability to take care of individual students needs. My child not only caught up but exceeded his education requirements for the year! His confidence level increased 100%. They went on field trips and enjoyed many activities throughout the year. This place has been a blessing and we are looking forward to the summer program as well as a new school year in the fall.

The academics are top-notch and the athletics and extra-curricular offerings are all that you would get from a larger school, but with more opportunity given the smaller size. Within 5 days of my 1 year old daughter attending this school she had 2 injuries happen. The first…read morewas a bump on the head which was also her first day and the second was her two front teeth being completely broken. When her teeth were broken on the property I was not informed by the school and learned of her injury on my own after picking her up. At some point my daughter was not being fully monitored despite the school telling me the teacher was watching her and that she never showed any signs of distress. A one year old would have a reaction to having her two front teeth broken so to hear otherwise from the people I trusted to care for her is disheartening. After trying to communicate with the school they are refusing to take any accountability for their actions and even lied upon further investigation to avoid any repercussions. I don't think my child was hurt purposefully but there was clearly negligence that needs to be addressed if they will be caring for children of all ages.
