Here is the reality in simple terms: * $2,000 down payment * About $11,700 paid so far in monthly payments * Only about $4,600 of that went toward the car * Over $7,000 went to interest and fees * As of December 2025, I still owe almost $14,000 * The interest rate is around 22 percent * The contract now ends September 2028 That means I have paid almost $14,000 total and the balance barely moved. This is how high interest loans work. Most of your payment goes to the lender first, not the car. I am not saying this is illegal. I am saying it is very easy to agree to something you do not fully understand, especially if you are young, stressed, or need a car fast. Please read this if you are considering buying here: * Do not focus only on the monthly payment. Ask for the total amount you will pay over the life of the loan. * Ask for the interest rate and write it down. If it is over 20 percent, understand you will pay thousands extra. * Google the value of the car yourself before agreeing. * Get everything in writing and do not feel rushed. * Use an online loan calculator or even ChatGPT to check if the deal makes sense. One more important thing. Drive Casa offers Collateral Protection Insurance, but this is not the same as legal car insurance in Texas. You still need separate liability coverage. This was not clearly explained to me before I drove off the lot, which could have resulted in tickets or impoundment if I had not followed up. Some staff were kind and professional, and I do not think everyone there has bad intentions. But the process is confusing, rushed, and not transparent enough for such a major purchase.
