I called Blue Cross Blue shield and they informed me that yes vitamin d lab work is covered and that the technician lied to me. I have sent quest two written complaints concerning the technician's behavior, but quest has not responded. They have sent me a bill. I am going to treat the bill the same way quest treated my complaint.

I've had more than a thousand blood draws between labs and hospital stays. That's not an exaggeration. If anything it might be an understatement. This location has some of the best phlebotomists I've ever encountered. Today Paula drew my blood. She was very thorough and smooth. I didn't even feel the needle. She handled my blood thinner issues like a pro and I didn't even bleed at all - a rarity when I'm not even on blood thinners!
