We had Furry Friends come out about 6 months ago and clean our turf with results that lasted. With summer starting we decided to have them out again and this time they did even better. It looks cleaner and there is no unpleasant odor from my pups! In the few days that it has been since the cleaning we have even noticed that the flies have lessened. Customer service is great too, they were very friendly and easy to talk with about what our needs were. We will definitely use this service again.

They were amazing, from the patience that they expressed on the phone when I initially contacted them all the way to the actual care of my puppy. I don't think I'm being a sour grape when the rescue decided to stop communicating with us for no apparent reason. One of the dogs from the litter we were interested in is STILL up for adoption 2 years later. That's a serious issue there. We have a fenced-in home with a large backyard. We are young, married, and without children. We have experience with dogs. My husband was working from home at the time, and now I am working from home. We are more than financially capable to spend money on our pets/family members. The big picture? Qualified families are being ignored when they express interest in adopting. We sent 2-3 emails asking for an update on our application with no response. Not even a courteous reason for declining our application. They didn't respond. Everything had been fine and dandy up until then. We now have two extremely happy dogs that we adopted from other organizations.

I adopted my Shepherd about two years ago. He was in very rough shape before I got a chance to meet him and without this rescue I doubt he would be alive today, and for that I am forever grateful. Some people have a tough time understanding why they have been rejected by the rescue. I cannot speak on their behalf. However I do know how much time and effort gets put into getting these dogs well and finding them a suitable forever home. It just makes sense to me they are not just going to hand out a dog to someone who is not educated or able to give the dog everything it needs in life. People just don't think about how rescue dogs were lacking that support system and how they thrive when placed with the proper family! Many people want to rescue a dog to do a "job" for them. Protect the house or family. These dogs are not employees, they are family members. If they happen to do things like that, great. However if they want to sit on the couch all day and enjoy the luxuries of a responsible dog owner then so be it! Basically...I applaud the Southern California German Shepherd Rescue for everything they do for these beautiful animals. They are wonderful people with the kindest souls. Not to mention really sweet and lots of fun. If you are thinking about rescuing a dog, please consider the SCGSR. Ignore these ignorant posts and do yourself a favor and satisfy your life with a great rescue. They deserve it!!!

I had a very disappointing experience with Walks Washes & Wags Mobile Dog Grooming as a first-time…read morecustomer. The day before my appointment, they asked if I could accommodate a time change from the original 8:30-9:30am arrival window to 10:00-11:00am. I understand that schedules can shift, so I rearranged multiple work meetings to be available during the new window. However, 11:00am came and went with no communication. By 11:20, I reached out via text, and over the next hour I sent additional messages and called twice, even leaving a voicemail. I received no response until 12:02pm, when they texted saying they were on their way and running behind. By that point, all the meetings I had pushed earlier in the morning had already been rescheduled and could not be moved again. When they finally arrived, there was not a single apology. Instead, they repeatedly said, "we have other clients and this is why we give you a window." That explanation doesn't hold up. A service window only works if the business shows up within it or at least communicates proactively if they're going to be late. There was zero communication during the scheduled window and no accountability afterward. My wife and I both work and adjusted our entire morning to accommodate their requested change. To then be treated as if our time didn't matter was incredibly frustrating. At one point, Tayler even asked, "so do you want to do this or reschedule," which felt dismissive given the inconvenience we had already endured. If you have nothing else to do and can wait around indefinitely, maybe this service would work for you. But as a new customer, this experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend them.
