This store is a MUST STOP! Trilogy is antiques AND design with exceptionally curated pieces from all over the world. It reminds me of an art gallery you would pop into in Chicago, NYC or LA - you're instantly transported from the quaint neighborhood street in Three Oaks to this wild world bazaar. So what do they sell? Crazy artwork. Crazy furniture. Crazy antiques. This is the place to come and be inspired! This is not the place to come "in search of" anything. Because trust me, you've never ever seen some of the pieces that you'll find here. Everything has a price tag with an explanation and price. But if you want more info, find the gal working... key work "find". We never saw anyone behind the counter the whole time we were there. Probably for the better as we really were taking everything in and probably would've gotten sucked into all the stories of the pieces. Absolutely stop by here- it's museum-like but everything is for sale! And then invite me over for dinner at your house so I can hear all about your cool new pieces! read more

our experience was so disappointing. we've come to this area for the past 6 years and have enjoyed shopping at this store. today, we walked in and my daughter calmly sat down in a sofa chair. not roped off. no signage. nothing that stated it was not allowed. an older women with bobbed white/blond hair walked by and yelled at ALL of us {my husband, me, and my other daughter} that the chair is not to be sat in and she can sit in it if she plans to spend $5000 and buy it. absolutely appalled at this older women's behavior, we promptly left. to be spoken at in such a tone was unprofessional and rude. we're so upset at our experience. my husband loved this shop and he would find unique items here but after this, we unfortunately will never be returning and letting our community know how awful and unsettling this interaction was. read more

The pics for this place drew me in to take a closer look. This is the nicest and most organized antique shop I have ever encountered, what a breath of fresh air. No musty and moldy stench either. Every section of this place looks like it was designed and laid out by an interior designer or a home stager, it's on point and does a great job to catch the eye up, down, side to side and all around. This antique shop has so many interesting and cool relics and treasures, be it old alma mater flags, washboards, ornate chests, paintings and sketches and prints, old signs, chairs, retro furniture, African locks, statues and whatever you can think of, it's here. This is a type of antique shop you want to take a first pass through once, second pass to study and check out the bigger items and a third and forth trip to really study and observe and take in the smaller and more intricate and intriguing items. You could easily spends hours here and find many items that will peak your interest. read more

I am a huge fan of Trilogy! It is a well curated collection of vintage items that meet a certain level of great design. Whether it's an Eames chair or a unique "common" object with lovely lines and balanced aesthetic. Trilogy sees the best of things and collects them for us to enjoy and perhaps if we are lucky-- own for our everyday pleasure. Will come back again and again. read more

Trilogy occupies the space formerly graced by the owners of Springdale, which is now closed. The new residents have an eclectic, and I have to admit, exceptionally well-executed and organized collection of very unique art and antiques. The items are for an uspcale urban market, despite their location in this very flat and unassuming little Michigan town. Entering the place is like stepping into a Chicago River North gallery. And the clientele seems imported. This contrast to its surroundings seemed even more accentuated by the absolute desolate feel and lack of street traffic on the September weekend we visited. Again, upscale is the key term here. Original paintings will run you in the thousands vs,, hundreds. The art, the pieces, the antiques are all of the highest quality and originality, and probably very much in keeping with the affluent Harbor Country set. Just a few miles back towards the lake lies the Malibu or Southampton of the Midwest, and the target market for a place like Trilogy. Definitely worth a stop, though, even if your champagne tastes are well over-shadowed by your beer budget. You can still browse. (And there may be free brie.) read more

Really enjoyed my visit to Three Oaks and stopping in at this amazing shop. The furnishings, art and unique home decor items are so special and come from all over the world. There is so much to see yet it is displayed so well. I could go through the shop several times and see something special at every turn. Lots of mid-century furnishings, art, antiques, trampling art, oddities, it just goes on and on and on. The woman there is super friendly and informational. It is so enjoyable just being in the shop. I hope to purchase something someday.. Based on hearing that these items are sourced and shipped from all over I think any price is a bargain. read more

I just moved to three oaks this past August. Had a chance to stop in the gallery with my 3 month old son. All I have to say is amazing. Trilogy is a place I will definitely visit again. I am an aspiring artist and it is wonderful to have a place to take my children that is just down the street to see what art is supposed to look like. read more

Decent stuff, but we left because they had an elephant foot seat/stool. Yes, I refuse to buy anything from a place that sells items such as this. Say what you will about "its already been done, all they are doing is re-selling it" but its perpetuating the practice. Its horrible to perpetuate the poaching of elephants. I'm not a crazy extremist, I'm sure I blended well in the store, I'm a 30 something yuppie with expendable income. Don't sell elephant parts. read more

This is an art gallery. Nothing about it says "antiques shop" to me. We walked in and saw half-walls with modern paintings on them and "art" that may have been made with re-purposed "stuff" but we didn't see anything that would have led me to believe I was standing in an antiques shop. When we asked the man at the desk about finding an antiques shop in the area (we'd already come from a disappointing start in Sawyer and Harbert) he said some of the items in his shop are "mid-century." Really thinking it would be less misleading to change name of shop to reflect fact it is not an antiques shop but an art gallery. This was a waste of gas and time for us. If we'd been looking for an art gallery, great. But we weren't. We were looking for antiques and this wasn't the place to go for that. read more

We met Alan one of the owners last week. It is an amazing place. We have never seen so many wonderful items in one shop and we travel around a lot. Bravo...yes upscale, yes unusual, great taste and eclectic, artistic items. Lot's of lovely one-of-a-kinds. read more

I stumbled upon Triology by chance and was very pleased to find this gem in quaint Three Oaks, Michigan. This large space is a collection of art dealers, antique collectors, and other goodies that will inspire you with bold, new ideas for your home or office. Everything from a mid-century dental chair to an original Joan Miro painting. The objects are suitable for those with a high-end budget, but you can certainly find your share of values here. Imagine Restoration Hardware but a million times more authentic, rustic and impressive. Even if you're not shopping for anything in particular, this place is certainly worth the visit! read more
