NO PARKING ON DANDALE DRIVE BEHIND PARK, HAS NO PARKING TOW AWAY SIGNS POSTED. Football Field remains locked, grass is meticulous and well manicured. Very clean sports park, plenty of waste receptacles placed accordingly. Several batting cages. Lights for evening games accessible. Handicap accessible ramps near parking lots near stairs. Grishelde Drive dead ends at park into wooded area, saw a trucker parked peacefully nearby taking a nap. I came on a weekday during school hours, park was empty, I imagine it is pretty busy after school, on weekends, and during tournaments. Park is totally encircled by the woods, I saw a trail, but I did not venture down it. Park appeared very safe, deep within West Mobile Suburban Neighborhood, I got lost trying to get out of neighborhood, if you go north on Long Leaf Drive, you will come out at Cottage Hill, stores and eateries probably at least half mile to one mile from Park. Greer's Supermarket nearby on Cottage Hill, so is Big Time Diner, there are also Wendy's McDonald's, and Popeye's or Zaxby's Chicken on Cottage Hill as well.

Not knowing where anything was we continued driving and went through an open gate and came out to the area where all the baseball fields were and stopped at a closed gate by a playground. We almost got out to play on the playground but the wife wanted to see if there was another one so we drove back down the road only to be cut off by a fat long haired guy(looked like a groundskeeper) on a motorized large golf cart or gator. He started yelling something about driving through a locked gate. I told him we didn't drive through a locked gate and he just kept on about a locked gate and a sign, and went on a power trip. He was very rude, arrogant, and condescending. I couldn't believe the way he was acting about the whole situation like we were trespassing on some secret government facility. He went way overboard and just about when I had enough of his mouth he muttered something and sped off. I saw him a few minutes later shutting and locking the gate that HE obviously left open. If you don't want people driving down a road shut the gate! Guy acted like a complete jackass and if I were this guys boss I would give him a drug/alcohol test and maybe check his mental competency. Needless to say we will not be back and I will warn others of this idiots behavior.

This park is near US-90, you can hear the traffic from the park, you just walk through a small thatch of woods, and there is US-90. This park looks like it does not get much use. Very quiet in a semi-rural area.
