I'm not sure what was going on with this place, but I felt like I had to burn the top layer of my epidermis off to get clean after going into the bathroom. Husband felt the same. Women's restroom was filthy. Baby changing station was disgusting, two out of the three doors to the stalls were broken and wouldn't latch. There was no toilet paper in two out of the three stalls, very little in the third. No hot water was coming from the faucets and the paper towels were out. To top it off, both hand dryers weren't in service. Place needs to be shut down immediately and fixed. Absolute health hazard to everyone who uses those restrooms. Most disgusting restroom I've been in throughout our 1,000 mile trip today. read more

This fuel stop is actually filthy. Every time we have stopped here (we have to for the Tesla super chargers) there have been stopped up toilets, and poop smeared in the stalls. This place should be shut down for the health hazard alone. read more

Don't let the Exxon and Wendy's sign and outward appearance fool you! The restrooms are nasty (smelled like a rat had died in there) and the locks on the stalls don't work or are missing. I wouldn't eat food from either place because a dirty restroom is a good sign of a problem. This was at 10:15am - those restrooms weren't cleaned for a couple of days at least. read more

Warning: yes, WARNING: if the trash cans at the gas pumps are spilling over, chances are IMMENSE that they are similar inside the store/station. Ladies restroom: no toilet paper, no soap, a clogged toilet. Not a place you even want to expose much skin, let alone lady bits. Additionally the store shelves looked rather barren, lots of empty spaces. Drive to civilization a couple miles (or less) north or south but don't stop for amenities at Exit 11. read more

Good part. They sell gas. Restroom was reminiscent of what one would find in a Bolivian jail. Yes, I've been to Bolivia. Filthy, probably cleaned on a semiannual schedule. Outside of station was trash, generally unkempt. read more

Stopped here for years on our trips between Colorado and New Mexico. We will not stop here again. It's overcrowded even on non-holiday days. There are not enough bathrooms/stalls to even begin to take care of all the travelers. The line for bathrooms was practically out the convenience store door and I had to go so bad! We had to get back in the car and find the Safeway (which was a nice place to stop, by the way, although only one bathroom). This place is raking in money and they are not keeping the place up to standard. Find a different place to stop!! read more

This place is as bad as gas stations get in this country. Signs are broken, the drive-through doesn't make any sense at the Windys, the bathroom was abysmal, the coffee it's just water dressed and brown. read more

This would be a terrific stop if the staff was not overwhelmed and the bathrooms were attended to. Gross! You'd think that the fast food chain would help with this, but I guess not. I was heading north over the Raton Pass in early June 2009 when my fuel light came on. Egads! Imagine my delight to see the Trinidad Fuel Stop (Shell gasoline) at Exit 11; I made it there in good shape and made my purchase. The clerk was helpful and the store stocks lots of helpful stuff for travelers. I'd be pleased to stop there again, although next time I'll pick up gas in Raton if needed. :-) read more

Horrible gas station! Pump after pump doesn't work... no sign posted -- so you just have to drive from one to the next to find one that might work. The "air station" requires $1.50 in Quarters ONLY. So you ho I Soto get change, go outside. To discover that it doesn't work either... & of course, no sign! DONT STOP HERE... just 2 minutes into T-dad you'll find lots of good stations! read more

Easy to get to and get out of even with a trailer. But staff is surly and food from the attached Wendy's has twice been inedible: undercooked chicken meat one time and burned dry baked potato another time. read more

Staff is not very friendly, but they are usually pretty busy. Fuel prices in Trinidad are out of control, but that is at every station, not just this one. read more
