On busy days, it does get fairly congested though so make sure you leave early. The fields themselves are nice with an exception for a few that are pretty lumpy. Overall, this is a nice complex!

I was bullied by almost the entire grade when I went here, being one of the most obvious neurodivergent kids at the time, with undiagnosed autism. The kids would make fun of me to my face and behind my back and purposely exclude me all to make me feel bad. They would purposely set off meltdowns for me because they thought it was funny, and it set me back several years on improvement because of it. Most of the students I thought where my friends, where not my friends, and it gave my trust issues I still deal with to this day. The special education was not any better either. I was placed into it for reading, despite the fact I didn't really struggle with it in the first place, but they would treat us like we are infants that didn't know how to read and would make us go over the basics over and over again, even at ages we obviously know the basics. The school is supposed to be based on Christian values, but when it came to the treatment of disabled and neurodivergent students, it felt lacking. The school was great academically, as I understand more about subjects more than other peers my age due to how they taught us at the school, but how I was treated by the other students, and their treatment having lasting effects, I don't have much I can look back on in joy before I remember the bad.

They are more concerned with being on their phones and playing music while the children run around crazy and unengaged. The music in the room was so loud early in the morning I couldn't hear myself think. There is no way a child can calm down or communicate with other children with music this loud. They love sending children to the office for punishment and have no problem calling the parent while at work to pick their child up early for normal toddler tantrums and behavior. They called me every week for the 3 weeks my 2 yo was enrolled. Instead of trying to find a solution for the issue at hand they simply send the kids home and could care less because after all they are already paid. I was absolutely disappointed with this daycare. They are over priced and im seriously confused how they are accredited with anyone. My son has since started a new daycare, tuition is 100$ cheaper per week might I add, with competent child care providers and we have had no issues what so ever thus far.

I would NEVER send my child to this facility while it is employing some of the current staff. When…read morewe first enrolled our child in the Spring of 2014, we were very happy with the center, but almost immediately, the staff began to be replaced and everything went drastically downhill from there. My husband and I were met with horrible attitudes from the teachers of our child's class and upon observation, I witnessed the teachers just sitting at the table yelling at the children to solve disputes instead of interacting for a resolution. This Center needs to be investigated by the district managers. The kids in this class were clearly disruptive and unhappy.

We had some concerns related to this location after reviews surfaced online of abuse allegations at…read moreanother Lexington Kindercare, as well as allegations that the director at that location was aware of said abuse and was moved to the Wilhite Kindercare location. It was the day before my son started that we received notification that said director was resigning for "personal reasons." Take that as you will. As far as our personal experience, we did drop off and were able to take my infant son to his room (this is not the normal Covid policy: they wanted us to drop him at the door). When I walked in, there were two babies at the entrance of the room: one lying on the floor (not in a boppy or on a blanket, but on the floor), with an older child sitting up beside her, looking down over her, with snot running out both sides of his nose. I made a comment about the snot to both the director and the worker, the latter of whom was sitting across the room. It was the director that finally wiped the snot off as my husband and I looked horrified. We left, feeling like this was not a good fit for us, based on the the combination of abuse allegations and level of engagement (or lack thereof) of staff with the children. I returned at 1200 to pick up my son. I explained my concerns to the Asst. Director, who was apologetic, and waited for her to retrieve my son and his things. We were pulling him completely from the daycare. As I waited, the training she'd been completing on her laptop was still playing--and it was a recording, I believe, of a person talking to (I'm assuming) a group of Asst. Directors and Directors about "how to get more children in the door without having to hire more staff." This, I feel, sums up the mission of Kindercare. It showed in our experience. Again, we will not be returning.
