This review is specifically for the sports complex/fields. We've played here several times through…read moretravel soccer. The complex has plenty of parking. On busy days, it does get fairly congested though so make sure you leave early. The fields themselves are nice with an exception for a few that are pretty lumpy. Overall, this is a nice complex!

I went to this school from around 2009 to 2020, but it was just terrible. I was bullied by almost the entire grade when I went here, being one of the most obvious neurodivergent kids at the time, with undiagnosed autism. The kids would make fun of me to my face and behind my back and purposely exclude me all to make me feel bad. They would purposely set off meltdowns for me because they thought it was funny, and it set me back several years on improvement because of it. Most of the students I thought where my friends, where not my friends, and it gave my trust issues I still deal with to this day. The special education was not any better either. I was placed into it for reading, despite the fact I didn't really struggle with it in the first place, but they would treat us like we are infants that didn't know how to read and would make us go over the basics over and over again, even at ages we obviously know the basics. The school is supposed to be based on Christian values, but when it came to the treatment of disabled and neurodivergent students, it felt lacking. The school was great academically, as I understand more about subjects more than other peers my age due to how they taught us at the school, but how I was treated by the other students, and their treatment having lasting effects, I don't have much I can look back on in joy before I remember the bad.

A great place to worship and fellowship! Check the website for Holy Eucharist times as it changes…read moreduring the school year and summer. I enjoy attending the 5:00 pm Holy Eucharist. Concerts, free and open to the public, are usually before at 4:15 pm. Come and visit, whether you are Episcopal or not, all are welcome! Lectures, movies and classes are often held here for the entire community to enjoy. Parking is on the street, along Bell Ct & Sayre Ave. Rt 11, Richmond Rd bus stops directly in front of church or across the street at Kentucky Ave.

My wife suggested we try this place, she'd driven by it every day for years and been curious about going to services one day. Well, we e-mailed the priest to ask about parking, since it didn't look to have much parking at all. Apparently the lot across the street is usable by their parishioners. Most mornings they have a police officer there acting as a crossing guard. They are open-minded, friendly and accepting. They genuinely embrace diversity, of both people and ideas. The worship service is beautiful, the clergy are friendly and energetic, and the actual Church itself is a beautiful "old world" style place that looks like some centuries-old chapel from Europe, complete with stone pillars, stained glass windows ornate wood fixtures and a massive pipe organ. The choir there is practically unearthly in the beauty of their music. I'm quite happy to have found Good Shepherd. I wish I'd known about this place decades ago.
