The bus is right there, which is basically it's greatest strength. The place itself is kinda falling apart - or maybe that's just my place. For example, we have door falling off the hinges in our kitchen, and we have a very, very small refrigerator to share amongst 7 post-grads. Our Warden is nice, and we've never had any trouble with security or anything, so that's good. For me it's way too expensive, but that's because a lot of pour money goes to socializing events attended mostly by undergrads. As a post-grad, I feel quite a bit out of place to be honest.

The modern accommodation offered is very comfortable, and indeed modern. Every room features contemporary fixtures and fittings, interior furnishings and ensuite bathroom facilities. During the summer months, having been vacated by the students, the rooms are available to rent by tourists and those studying on summer programs at the college. A modern ensuite single bedroom within an apartment of six rooms sharing one kitchen is priced at €21.82 per night. If two of you are travelling then you can share a sizable double room, two single beds within an apartment with a larger ensuite for €16.87 each per night. The kitchen, akin to the décor of the rest of the apartment is too very contemporary with all of the necessary kitchen appliances supplied. The kitchen is open-planned and adjoined to the communal living area - a sizable and minimalist area with basic sofas and a TV cabinet that provides adequate storage space for books, kitchen appliances, dining ware and anything else your heart desires. Close to the leafy Rathmines village, the halls are within easy commuting distance from Trinity College via Milltown Luas stop or 25 minutes walk into town. An inexpensive place to stay where you are assured contemporary accommodation within a complex highly secured to ensure the safety of the students staying on site is guaranteed 24 hours a day.

The location of the residence is in a great spot, but the food is very hit-or-miss at best, and meal times are very restricted. Laundry is provided, but for 6 euro per wash and dry. Wifi is spotty depending on the room you get. Fortunately I had wifi, but some of my friends rooms did not. PLEASE READ ALL FINE PRINT ON YOUR CONTRACT! There is plenty of fine print that they will use to get your security payment back. Overall, there are plenty of places to stay in Dublin that won't be as much of a headache.

On the second floor the window was able to be opened about 2-3 inches. The campus was gorgeous and very peaceful tucked away from the hustle of Dublins centre. It is walkable if you are up for it. We were a bit overwhelmed learning to drive on the wrong side so appreciated being able to park there and walk places to take public transit. Breakfast in the hall was wonderful. The reception workers let us store our bags since we arrived early and were very willing to provide suggestions. The building was very historic and was neat to roam and take pictures. Highly recommend if you are on a budget. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Handicapped accessible. Card entry to rooms. Would stay again.

This is a set of student apartments (section 50 I believe) that will take 3rd level students from all over Dublin. OK, now that's done we can move on to customer service. It has been fabulous. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because I haven't a place to compare it to. They allowed me to move in 4 days early when my plane arrived, the room and kitchen were clean, so far everything works, it's a 3 minute walk from Dublin City University, It's as pictured on the website and there is a Tescos about a mile away. I have been treated well and I'm happy so far with my "home."

I rented one of their rooms on Botanic Road for two students I knew who were arriving from Brazil during July 2016. We had been told by this Aanand guy that the place would have to be cleaned before we left or else the cost of same might be taken out of our deposit. Fair enough. Except when we arrived, the place was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves. The girls we were renting for arriving separately - one arrived on Wednesday, the other on Friday. The key for the first girl was left as promised. But when the second girl arrived on Friday, there was no sign of the second key. The first girl was in Belfast for the weekend, so the unfortunate second girl had to spend the night in a hostel and pay for it herself. Not a word of apology from Mr Aanand about this. The girls moved out and it was time to get my deposit back. Emailed our hero and was told that I'd have to wait a week because his boss, 'Mike', was on holiday. I told him this wasn't acceptable. As with queries about why he didn't bother to drop down the key, I got no answer. So, I rang him. Now, I admit I lost my temper and told him exactly what I thought of his competence levels. I couldn't force them to give back the deposit and one week on, I'm still waiting for it. He tried to claim the place was dirty (it wasn't, we'd vacuumed it before we left). By the way, the radiator had also leaked on the last night and only the girls had their stuff up off the floor, it would have all been soaked. Things like that, you can't legislate for. Gross incompetence and sullen silence when pulled up on it, you can. Go elsewhere, even if it means the park.

I lived in Glenard while I was doing my PhD. It was a very enriching experience. Doing a PhD can be…read morea stressing time but the fact that I lived in Glenard helped me to cope with the ups and downs of my research and the loneliness of it. I had friendly faces around me, people I could share with about my research and life in general. The food was good and pretty healthy and the fact that I didn't have to worry about cooking and doing my laundry helped me to focus on my study. The most important thing for me was the friendly atmosphere and the thoughtfulness of those in charge of the residence. I got very moved when a lovely Spanish dinner and a birthday cake were made on my birthday. It was a period in my life I will never forget. I really recommend living in Glenard.
