Visited here briefly for a short conference. The facilities are top notch, great clean conference rooms, well laid out, nice lobby area. I didn't get around to using the café or anything like that, but everything at our conference ran very smoothly.
One suggestion would be to print the WiFi information in a larger font on the wall! I'm only a young'un and from my seat I was squinting to see it-- ended up not getting connected and my data wouldn't work in there.
Otherwise it seems like there's something to suit everyone's meeting needs here. read more
Started as an intern here last month. I have been working in the Co Working area since then. The people, facilities, and atmosphere are all amazing! Reception staff is helpful and kind. The GEC hosts networking meetings and other events throughout the week- the sense of community is great. The cafe has good food at a reasonable price. There is WiFi throughout the centre and different meeting rooms. just this week they got a cool robot in the front lobby!! Great place to work!! read more

History
Established in 2000.
The GEC story began over two decades ago when Dublin Business Innovation Centre (Dublin BIC) found it had a common goal with Diageo Ireland (Guinness Ireland Group) - to stimulate enterprise development and business innovation within the inner city of Dublin.
In 2000, a state-of-the-art 6,000sq ft enterprise centre, developed from a warehouse within the Guinness St James' Street complex, opened its doors with the capacity to accommodate 400 ambitious entrepreneurs.
The companies and organisations that provided the vision, commitment and financial backing at the beginning are the same partners that continue to support the GEC, contributing both to its rich heritage and the success story it is today.
