This is an open and welcoming congregation and a place you can search for your own truth and meaning. There are programs for all ages including the smallest of children. It offers a good amount of parking on both sides of the church. Now I don't normally review churches. This is my first one. So I don't actively go to any certain one. So this is just a review based on the building and they services that they did offer for the wedding. The building a good size. Pretty well kept in the inside. The pastor also seemed nice. The theme of colors are a purple and dark blue colors for the inside. They also offered a back room with some nice glass work. Its your everyday Catholic church!

The views of the water are great, and one can even swim at your own risk if you want. (i didn't, but just putting it out there!) I found the sign in the front of the shrine a bit rude which said "due to this being a place of worship, proper attire is required". We didn't see anyone that enforced this, but i found it rude because some people just travel up there as peaceful tourists, and may not be religous either. Cool that there is an outdoor church. There is also buildings with a gift shop and restrooms, and a little musuem. the restrooms were very clean, which is good. the musuem was interesting as it mentioned that the french had church at that location then abandoned it. Also enjoyed the history about Samuel De Champlain, in which the Lake is named after. enjoyed the history part the most.

Anyway I've been when there hasn't been Mass being said and walked the stations of the cross and it's magnificent . Enjoy beauty and Vermont History as well as devotion by seeing all the outdoor books and crannies of worship.

Because as a kid, every Sunday after service, you could walk…read moreacross the street to the giant rectory and they would give out enormous amounts of free juice, coffee, and DONUTS. Each week, a family would volunteer to host it. I don't think the families themselves paid for the food and drinks - but they had to set it up and serve everyone. It was great. My family did this a bunch. It was a great social event for the townsfolk. I was here a few years back, visiting the old place. Still gorgeous. Still kept up immaculately. It was one of my memories from childhood I will remember forever. I wonder if they still carry on this tradition...
