I would not recommend this facility. First, the staff never answers the phone or returns phone calls. Even the nurse! For that matter even the emergency number. I had an issue the night I had a procedure. I called their number and left a message with the after hrs nurse because I was having some issues. I never received a call back. Twice my medication wasn't at the office at my appointment time. The 2nd time was to refill my pain pump. I waited in the front lobby about 45 minutes before someone came out and told me my medication went to the surgical center and somebody will have to go get it. Not sure how long it will take. It was about 11:00 and he asked if I could come back at 2:00 and I said okay. That was it. We were going to Austin that weekend and we decided to go early. I called to reschedule on Monday and of course had to leave a message. We are almost to Austin and they call me about 5:30 wanting to know why I didn't come to my appt. I said I called and canceled. She said I may start beeping and might end up in the hospital with withdrawals. What? This is the first I have heard of this. The guy that came out to ask if I could come back at 2 never said a word about that. Talk about a lack of communication!! Next, I am on Medicare and chose a plan that had a 15.00 specialist co-pay. The lady at the front desk kept trying to charge me more than 15.00 and then would argue with me when I told her she was wrong. I had an EEG at the office. She said the co-pay was 35.00. I paid it but called Humana later and they said since it was done in the Dr's office it would be 15.00 as always. I called and left many messages with billing and never got a return call. I left that office over a month ago and never heard anything from them and I'm sure I will never be reimbursed for their mistake. Another issue, they don't call in medications when the are supposed to. I needed a muscle relaxer, it was right before Christmas. I had seen Dr Classen and he said he would call it in. It wasn't! I left messages but it wasn't called in until three weeks later. Then, I got an allergic reaction to something. I didn't know if it was something they put in the pain pump that I just had refilled. It was Friday afternoon and I couldn't get hold of my primary doctor. I was itching all over!! I called Classen's office and went straight to the physicians ext, so I could actually speak to someone, which they tell you not to call that ext unless it's an emergency. Told her what was happening and she said she would call in a steroid pack. I said you will call it in today? She said yes. It was never called in! I had to go to CareNow the next morning because I was broke out all over, even my lips were swollen. I really loved Dr Classen. He is a sweet man that treated me with respect and sat there and listened to me as long as I needed him. He put a pain pump in for me and did a good job..but I asked him before I had it put in what meds were going in. He gave me the name of 4 meds. I wrote them down. When I started talking to him about the meds he said , we didn't put that one in. I said, you told me it was going to be put in. He said, we talked about 'maybe' putting it in. What?? No, we didn't. Also, we talked about putting in more muscle relaxant instead of pain medicine on the refill because I still had the tightness and the pain medication was making me feel sick. He said, okay done deal! What went into my refill? The exact same thing that went in the first time. Again,lack of communication or not making notes?! I'm sorry to Dr Classen, not to the staff, but I had to leave this review. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Classen and his team for over ten years. The quality of care and the results of various treatments far outweighs having to wait a little extra for my appointment. I know when he's with me, his attention is 100% with me. For the past 5 years I've had a pain pump. Their professional care in appointments for refills have given me the confidence to use the pump and receive most excellent results. Top notch! read more

I was scheduled to have injection in cervical spine on 12/31 . I was at surgery center had already recieved intravenous medication for procedure. Then Dr ABC came in so I proceed to try and explain the problems I had with the office on getting meds. She got defensive when I tried to explain that through thier patient portal I could show her the problems I was having like not listening to me or asking me about past medication they submitted a list to labcorp with medication on it I haven't taken in over a year. When I pointed that out I was being hostile according to her and she refused to do procedure. I have all screen shots from portal and filed complaint with state medical board. This office is an absolute JOKE! this has got to be the most poorly run and mismanaged medical office I've ever encountered. The support staff and medical assistants could care less about patient care and treatment. The incompetency is unbelievable. When you call their office, they will leave you an eternal hold. They are like the Keystone cops. No one knows anything about what's going on with your care and their attitudes are ridiculous. There's one medical assistant in particular by the name of Jazmine R who has a smart mouth and a nasty attitude. It took their office staff over a week from the date of my visit to send my prescriptions to my pharmacy. In that I called and called and no one and I mean no one cared that I needed my medicine or cared to help me. Their insurance department, if they actually have one, has no clue about health insurance. They needed to appeal a decision for a CT scan with my insurance company and no one knew how to do it or cared to do it. Jazmine even ask me "did you call us back and make sure that we did It"? I mean, I honestly thought that I was being Pranked dealing with this office. I'm not surprised that they're google and yelp reviews only have two stars. In fact that's two stars too many. If there was a way I could give negative stars for this company I would certainly do it. They'll file your insurance and they'll get paid, but they're not going to do one thing for your treatment and care. AVOID THIS OFFICE AT ALL COST! read more

To my Fort Worth neighbors--Please AVOID this practice at all costs! The Trinity Pain Medicine Associates facility is dark, humid, and dingy. Upon leaving my third visit, I noticed their roof was spilling rainwater into an interior hallway. When I pointed this out to Dr. Classen, a nurse responded that she would grab a bucket. Their staff was consistently rude and treated me like a criminal. On my first visit, the phlebotomist poked me at least 4-5 times, bruising up my entire forearm for routine lab work. Trying to go over my medical history with one particular nurse felt like an interrogation. On top of this, the staff turnover rate is extremely high. Not one time over the span of several months did I see a familiar face during any of my appointments. Their office check-in forms are outdated, difficult to discern, and poorly copied. To make things worse, the automated email system spammed me after each visit with multiple survey requests and redundant appointment notes. After many visits, Dr. Classen ultimately decided to deny me treatment for a very painful fractured vertebrae and compressed spinal column containing bone fragments. I filled out there 17 page questionnaire, arrived early and I've still not seen the Dr. 1 hour 15 minutes into my visit. No patient deserves this treatment and should not have to put up with it. Wait times are horrible. Plan on waiting hours after your scheduled appointment to actually have a procedure done. I thought we were off to a good start when I came in for the first time and was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. However ob my second visit, I was not seen until 1 1/2 AFTER my scheduled appointment time. I can certainly understand a wait, but an hour and a half is ridiculous. If I had shown up an hour and a half late to my appointment I would have been forced to pay the no-show fee, and would have lost my appointment. In 2021, after having seen 13 different doctors, Dr. Classen diagnosed me with CRPS within 5 minutes of meeting me. In December 2021 he performed a SCS surgery on my spine, with excellent results. Around July 2022 I started to feel pain around my battery site, and asked him to take a look at it. He then proceeded to tell me that it was because I was too fat, that the battery wasn't going to work where he placed it. I had gained a total of 4 pounds since he saw me to the actual surgery. He did a revision surgery in July 2022 once again proclaiming that if I wasn't so fat, he wouldn't have to move it. In August 2022 I told him I was having some really intense back pain that I had never had before- he recommended a chiropractor. When I asked if that was safe, because I have this hardware in my back, he said yes and that he sends all of his patients to this person. When I went to the chiropractor, he broke my Spinal Cord Stimulator. When I went back to Dr. Classen, he claimed that there was always going to be a risk, and that there was nothing that he could have said or done to the chiropractor. I was sent to a neurosurgeon who did AMAZING work, and when I asked for my medical records from Dr. Classen, he did not want me to have them. I sent in a request on 9/6/2022, and by law they had 15 days from that date to get me my medical records(they write that on their form), and I did not receive my medical records until 11/7/2022. On the medical records I received I noticed there were some inconsistencies in their records versus mine. One of the most important differences was the fact that he diagnosed me with an eating disorder, this was not said to me at all, and we had not talked anything about my eating habits or my feelings about my eating habits. When I tried to get some clarification on this subject, I was brushed off. I emailed them, went in person, called about 8 times and my mom called about 8 times as well. They've hung up on us, they have said they would "call back" and never did. I was told that I was no longer allowed to speak to Dr. Classen, that all of my communication would now have to go through Dr. Bailey. While I am sure Dr. Bailey is a fine doctor, I have not seen her before, so she doesn't know my case. They told me any questions I had(which were just my asking how he came to that conclusion and what eating disorder I had) would have to go to her. I have been calling since September, and I still do not have an answer. I tried to get them to amend my records(as is anyone's right by HIPPA) and they still will not call me back or let me know what is going on with my records. I would never tell anyone to go here for anything, there are doctors who actually care and who will actually listen to you out there. Dr. Classen does not care about you, he cares about being right at all costs. I will never go back to this clinic, and there are a few good people there, but as a whole they have failed. I was a patient several years ago after at series of back surgeries. My back surgeon told me that I'd have issues the rest of my life, and I'm quite overdue for a major issue and have started having it, just like expected. I tried to make an appointment this morning for nothing more than an xray to see where the severe pain and loss of feeling in my legs was coming from....and they turned me away saying "Dr Classen has nothing left to offer me"...an xray...to follow up on 3 back surgeries....to find out why I'M HAVING TROUBLE WALKING. If you want to feel like shit and be slapped in the face for being sick and in pain, by all means enjoy going to trinity. Anita the scheduler and the front desk lady (don't know her name) will make you feel at ease as they give you the angry latina treatment. They will cut you off and treat you like you're mince meat. They're level of service reminds you of dealing with you're worst call to united airlines. You feel like you're a pet getting a thermometer up the bum. Even if your insurance pays 100%, STILL AVOID THIS PLACE. The doctors are fine but you get the slaughter house feel with their clinical and procedure bays. It's just an odd fit. I feel bad for all the people waiting in the waiting room. It is a definite slaughter house feel. Sad. It's bearable if it wasn't for the treatment you get from the front desk lady and Anita the scheduler. It's four hours of true cattle life. Worst place to be when you're in pain! read more

I can not begin to explain how wonderful this pain Management facility and it's Staff are. I had been in pain for over 20 years with no hope of relief. When my Primary care Physician sent me to them I wasn't expecting much help. After doing diagnostics to determine the cause and possible solutions I under went a procedure that immediately reduced my pain and within a week my pain level was ZERO! Even though I read the reviews we still went...greatly regret wasting my time, energy and co pays. First, the wait times are ridiculous. We have to be there by a certain time but then don't get seen til at least an hour later. Dr Baily is nice but Dr Claussen could use some help w/his beside manner. This practice does not listen to their patients. My husband is still in excruciating pain. Back in the old days folks drank to deal w/the pain. Yes, my husband drinks to deal w/the pain. Dr. C insisted that my husband go to rehab because my husband drank before an injection. We told him to let us reschedule and we can detox at home, as we have done before. But that answer was not acceptable. We went to Millwood Hospital for outpatient rehab..DONT GO THERE...They will twist stuff to suit their needs. So even after Millwood screwed us, Dr. C still didn't care to listen to what my husband and I had to say. He just said no, he didn't complete the program, and that's the end of it.
