Its funny, I would never think to review a school on yelp... But after seeing the rating so low, one can assume its because its one salty person and too few reviews. The school is incredible. I will be sending all my children there after only one year of my son going. Class sizes are small, STEM is a major focus, teachers are qualified, and expectations are high.. both academically as well as conduct standpoint. Staff/Admin/Teachers are among some of the most caring and friendly you will meet. When taking a tour led by 8th grade students, I was blown away by the maturity, confidence and composure of these 12/13 year olds. This year, my family had the misfortune of dealing with the diagnosis of a serious illness that I received. When notified, the amount of support and love that my family received was incredible. They offered before/after care... they gave cell phone numbers etc... The community atmosphere there is incredible. All that said, its not for everyone. As mentioned above there are expectations, there is religion and morals, and if your children need to be reprimanded for poor behavior, then they will provide that as well. We have found that most other parents that have a hard time following the rules are the ones who seem to have the most "problems"... The doors open at a certain time for a reason. The children are let out a certain way, for a reason. They ask for certain snacks not to be sent to school for a reason... And it seems the parents who have to complain the loudest about these rules, rather than just accepting them as part of enrollment in this school, perhaps should consider a different school. We have found that being cooperative, following the rules and being personable has lead to a fantastic experience. In my business, if my clients are difficult to work with, they have a much different experience than those who are a pleasure to work with. read more

Trinity Regional School is a fantastic school! Two daughters, one graduated and in a local fantastic high school thriving and one still attending in upper elementary. Both of my daughters have been in TRS for the nursery, pre-k and Kindergarten programs. They were received with kindness and warmth. In reference to the negative review, I am not too concerned about the front desk. My main concern is my kids safety. I would prefer there be a strict policy on admittance. Also, public school just as catholic schools are not babysitting services. There is a time that students are expected to be in school and released from school. On another note, The academics are by far high, the teachers are fantastic and the curriculum is rigorous. This is everything that embodies a dynamic school. The class size is small as they move up into elementary school and middle school. This is exactly why I choose Trinity Regional School. Truly, look no further if you and your family are looking into Catholic Education. You will not be unhappy. read more

I told the guidance counselor I was depressed and got suspended for a week. Uhhhh I did like a few of my teachers though they were cool. I got yelled at quite often (and teachers love to tell at entire classes), but I guess that's the stern kind of rule enforcement you'd expect from a Catholic school. Don't worry- no corporal punishment or anything like that (and I think the only nun that worked there is gone). I graduated in 2013 so I can't tell you what it's like now but if it's still the same I'd suggest just sending your kids to another grammar school. BEWARE! Terrible school. Rude staff and teachers. The principal is so nasty and unapproachable, and will not reply to an email if you have concerns about the school. During morning drop off, the front desk attendant is the rudest of all of them, and will stare at you while you're buzzing the door to get in. She'll wait until her conversation is finished before she'll open the door. School starts at 8:45am but don't expect to drop your kid off before that. The teachers will literally stand at the door and stare at you until exactly 8:45! They love releasing the kids early though. School ends at 11:30am but the teachers will be waiting to release the kids by 11:15, sometimes earlier. Think about how much time you're loosing and what you pay for. They lied one year and made people think there would be two Pre-k classes, but squished 30 kids into one room and tried to hide it from the parents until the first day of school. They won't let your child into the school to use the restroom once they are dismissed as well! A three year old girl(who's a student) was crying because she peed on herself since the front desk wouldn't open the door to let her in. During dismissal for nursery and pre-k students, parents are no allowed into the building. They push our kids out a backdoor while we stand on the grass (yes, in the rain and freezing cold too). You can't even speak to the teacher if you have a concern or question, and they will force to you make an apportionment instead. Four students were pulled out of a pre-k class and moved to a different school the first month because things were so bad. There are so many students squished into one class that they don't learn anything. When the kids come home with projects, you can tell they didn't do any of it. The teachers rush the kids and do the work for them. Enrollment has declined every year. Ask yourself, if there are 30 students in a pre-k class, why are there only 11 students that return for kindergarten? Exactly my point! Terrible school that has adults with poor attitudes driving paying parents away. I regret ever sending my kids there! read more
