I found a text containing grammatical errors, and threats of cancellation over paperwork (that I did fill out prior to the appointment time) of an appointment from a doctor's office to be concerning. I stated simply that the behavior was not encouraging. Their immediate response: "Good morning, Allison! Thank you for your feedback. At Connected Health, we strive to provide a respectful and efficient environment for all of our patients. Given your concerns, we believe it would be best to cancel your appointment. We wish you the very best in finding the care that best fits your needs." Being respectful of your patients would include honoring your appointment commitments. Being respectful of your patients might include not threatening to cancel their appointment the day of, when the patient has already rearranged their schedule. I have seen a few chiropractors over the years and before being adjusted my Dr. Cox I was getting adjust by our sports medicine doc who also does adjustments. Now that Dr. Cox has started to work on my back and neck I have a lot less pain and headaches, and will not let anyone else adjust me. There are many things I love about Dr. Cox but one of the biggest is that he is gentle in his adjustments and let's you know what he's going to be doing, I have been to other chiropractors who I felt like just pile drove me and then said "don't worry about the soreness or residual pain that's supposed to happen," but Dr Cox isn't like that. I can't say enough good things about him, I look forward to working with him for many years. Update: I have been going to Village Chiropractic Center for over a year and a half now and have been adjusted by all of the doctors there. They are all wonderful. Dr. Cox is still my highest recommendation of any chiropractor I have ever seen. I have considerably less pain now than I had when I first began seeing him. I am able to get adjusted and get therapy about once a month without being in pain, unless I do something I shouldn't that aggravates my back.

After a little research, it seems that there are tons of complaints about this company on the Better Business Bureau web site. Neither Village Chiropractic or VRX Medical has contacted us about any balance owed. What a horrible way to do business and Village Chiropractic can be sure of one thing: we will never, ever use their services again! Turns out we owed them a co-pay that they failed to collect at the last visit. They had the wrong address recorded for her account--even though they had to make a copy of her drivers license and insurance card. They never called, they claim to have sent 2 invoices to the wrong address, and turned us into collections over $50 because of their failure to properly communicate. What a joke this place is! Stay away--stay very far away!!!

When walking is we were greeted with smiles and offered water while we waited. The office was bright and comfortable. She then explained the treatment, duration of treatments, what the cost was going to be and options of payment. Never once did I feel like they talked down to my dad or myself, they talked to him and I not at us and that makes a huge difference shows they really do care.
