I found a text containing grammatical errors, and threats of cancellation over paperwork (that I did fill out prior to the appointment time) of an appointment from a doctor's office to be concerning. I stated simply that the behavior was not encouraging. Their immediate response: "Good morning, Allison! Thank you for your feedback. At Connected Health, we strive to provide a respectful and efficient environment for all of our patients. Given your concerns, we believe it would be best to cancel your appointment. We wish you the very best in finding the care that best fits your needs." Being respectful of your patients would include honoring your appointment commitments. Being respectful of your patients might include not threatening to cancel their appointment the day of, when the patient has already rearranged their schedule. Today, my wife received a sketchy call from some third-party company (Transworld Systems Inc) claiming to be calling on behalf of VRX Medical and asking her to reveal Personal Identifying Information. After a little research, it seems that there are tons of complaints about this company on the Better Business Bureau web site. Neither Village Chiropractic or VRX Medical has contacted us about any balance owed. What a horrible way to do business and Village Chiropractic can be sure of one thing: we will never, ever use their services again! Turns out we owed them a co-pay that they failed to collect at the last visit. They had the wrong address recorded for her account--even though they had to make a copy of her drivers license and insurance card. They never called, they claim to have sent 2 invoices to the wrong address, and turned us into collections over $50 because of their failure to properly communicate. What a joke this place is! Stay away--stay very far away!!!
