They don't actually check your benefits just quote based on what they see with other policies. I've been in the insurance industry over 20 years so very well versed on my insurance coverage. I arrived at the appointment to wait for the guy up front to finish a call out loud with a patient. No confidentiality whatsoever as I was able to hear what the patient was coming in for, her name and other personal information. While he was on the phone the other staff members were sitting around in the back being very unprofessional laughing and joking very loudly not even acknowledging my presence. Finally once he wrapped up the call, he acknowledged me a couple of minutes later to only mis- quote my insurance benefits that were provided 3 months in advance of the appointment. I should have known not to proceed with the appointment when I spoke with him on the phone to schedule the appointment but I still went in as the doctor that completed my UFE recommended Dr. Gray. It was a complete waste of my time as I was not seen that day after taking off from work early and blocking off the time that could have been used else where. It might have all been for the best if the front side of the office is a reflection of the type of service provided. The experience was extremely disappointing after being referred by another provider I highly respect. I'm sharing this feedback with him as well so he can be cautious when putting his name behind this provider. This was a blessing ! The lady at the window was so sweet and welcoming ! She was expecting me and very helpful . The back story here is I met Dr King 20 years ago and God brought us together. The very first visit she was compassionate and generous with her advise ! Godly woman with a beautiful gift ! Dr . King is meticulous and orderly about her procedure for optimal care . I left a message. TWO WEEKS later someone finally returns my call. I called back to try to set the appointment and again I was instructed to leave a message. I have never experienced any medical office answer voicemails two weeks later. This left a very bad first experience as it was not only unprofessional but possibly deadly if I needed lab results or any additional follow up. I found another gynecologist in the area. I was a patient of this doctor for most of my life. When I was younger and my mother came into appointments with me, he was always on his best behavior. It wasn't until I got older and started going to appointments alone that I began to see a very different side of him. His bedside manner toward me changed completely. He was rude and visibly judgmental toward younger pregnant women in the waiting room, and once I was alone with him, his friendliness disappeared. I was even denied an endometriosis diagnosis despite him telling me that I "definitely exhibit the symptoms that come with endometriosis." His reasoning? He "just didn't like giving out endometriosis as a diagnosis" because it was becoming an oversaturated request that too many girls are trying to look into. That should have been the last time I saw him. But I was young, naive, and didn't have the time or experience to find another doctor. His clinic was also conveniently located across from the clinic where I worked, so I continued going. My final appointment was when I finally realized how uncomfortable and unsafe I felt with him. At this point, COVID restrictions had already been relaxed for quite some time. Most healthcare offices I was familiar with before the restrictions relaxed were allowing patients to bring one person with them. I repeatedly asked if my now-husband could come into the appointment with me, but the doctor strongly insisted that I come in alone. I eventually agreed, but I secretly kept my husband on speakerphone while he waited outside in the car so he could hear what was being said. He heard the way the doctor spoke down to me. He just couldn't hear what was happening physically. I left that appointment feeling violated. During the breast examination, he would give me commands about what to do with my body without asking or explaining. "Lift your arms. Move your elbow. Scoot. Sit up, I need to get a better feel." The examination felt unnecessarily long and quiet. He even brushed my hair aside for me. Then came the Pap smear. There was very little warning before he began, and he remained there for an uncomfortable amount of time. The Pap smear itself felt excessively long and was incredibly uncomfortable and painful. At times, he would scoot back slightly to talk to me while I was still exposed, with my legs wide open in front of his direct view, before going back to the examination. The entire examination took around 15-20 minutes. There were also other things he did during the examination that I later learned were not necessary for a routine Pap smear. It was painful. It was uncomfortable. And there were moments when his nurse would leave the room, leaving me completely alone with him. I hated every second of it, but at the time, I didn't know that what I was experiencing was not normal. When the examination was finally over, he rushed out of the room. He didn't meet me at the end of the hallway like he had when I was younger. He was simply gone. I was left to find out what came next in my care from the front desk, whenever they finally got around to helping me. I finally made it back to the car, and my husband looked at me. He looked scared and angry and asked, "Are you okay?" I immediately bawled. It was a very emotional time for us from there. Looking back, I also regret not listening to a coworker who had gone to him once and immediately warned me never to go back. She told me that she believed he had become sexually aroused during her examination. I didn't believe her at the time. I wish I had. I am sharing this because I recently had my first Pap smear since leaving this clinic, and I broke down afterward. I had no idea a Pap smear could be almost painless. I had no idea it could be that quick. When my new doctor told me she was finished, I genuinely didn't believe her because my previous experiences had made me think that what I went through was normal. It wasn't. Young women and girls deserve to know what normal, respectful gynecological care looks like. You should be listened to. You should be told what is happening before and during an examination. You should feel safe asking questions. You should not feel trapped, humiliated, or violated during routine medical care. I wish I had known that sooner.

I was also told my insurance was not accepted after i verified with someone days prior and also with my insurance carrier. I found this office through my insurance and went in to get checked out. First off I was not given any urine test to make sure my levels were normal and make sure I wasn't already pregnant. I saw the doctor (Seetha Sureddi) to get checked out and informed her that I was trying to get pregnant and she proceeded to check me out, prescribe me some medication and tell me to go get labs done if my cycle is missed. I found out shortly after being prescribed the medication that I was pregnant but also found out that I was prescribed medication that was harmful during pregnancy. The doctor clearly didn't listen when I told her I was trying to get pregnant and didn't care to test to see if I already was. I'm trying to get pregnant to have a baby not get pregnant to experience complications during pregnancy or lose a baby due to negligence on the doctors part. I will not be returning EVER!!
