I remembered all of the cool shops on Lake Ave and while walking around I discovered Bali Importers. Bali Importers purchases directly from the artisans and manufacturers and ships in items from Indonesia to sell them in this spacious store. You can see pictures of the Bali artists on their website. In the store I saw clothing, beautiful fans, wood carvings, home decor, musical instruments, stickers, greeting cards, and sunglasses. They had large wooden spiders that make for one of a kind Halloween decorations. My favorite find was all of the colorful and inexpensive costume jewelry. Earring were $3 and bead bracelets were $5. I especially loved the colorful chakra adjustable bracelets. It was so fun to look through all of the beautiful gemstone jewelry. Now that I know about Bali Importers, I'll be back to shop for Christmas presents.

Be sure to head down the road a little bit further where there is another ornately decorated home on the right side. Grab the family and head over here for free holiday fun. They also offer garden furniture, planters, water features, and stone paving for both residential and commercial projects. I didn't see any prices, so I can't comment on the cost. It seems like one of those places where, if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it. Today I ventured into the plaza to grab an overpriced espresso from El Balcon de las Americas and browse Home Depot for portable cabinet lighting. The Home Depot, Ulta and the Publix are the anchor stores generating the most customer activity. Strangely, there is a Petco and a Pet Supermarket in the same plaza with a PetSmart directly across the street, not sure if that was the best marketing decision to have this plaza thrive.
